Then Aelar, Elisa, and Walter moved to another quiet room where there was no one else.
Then Aelar looked at Walter and respectfully asked, "Sir, I don't see Asher anywhere. Where is he?"
Walter looked at Aelar and replied, "He went to his room and is probably sleeping peacefully right now as we speak."
Aelar looked at Walter for a moment with an expression that seemed to say,
"Sir, are you perhaps joking?"
Elisa sighed and then said, "That is both unbelievable and believable if we're talking about that child."
Aelar looked at Walter again before asking, his voice filled with both worry and confusion,
"Sir, he was just about to be killed, and he also would have killed a fellow student if you hadn't intervened in time. Shouldn't any kid who experienced death that closely, and who almost killed another person, be feeling fear or guilt? So how can he possibly be sleeping peacefully right now?"
