Aria just nodded at Noah's answer and then started eating her breakfast.

Noah didn't say anything further and simply continued eating as well.

Adam looked at Noah, then at Aria, and thought,

"I somehow forgot that when Asher isn't with us, she always seems colder toward others. There's also a certain tension in the conversations. Or maybe it's just that idiot's way of talking that makes everything feel lighter. Or maybe I'm just being delusional."

The three of them continued eating breakfast in silence.

After finishing her meal, Aria stood up and looked at them.

"I'm going to check up on him in his room. Do you guys want to come along?" she asked.

Noah and Adam looked at each other before replying,

"We'll come too. Let us just finish breakfast first."

Aria nodded.

"I'll be waiting at the entrance of the cafeteria. Don't take too long."

With that, she walked away.
