Motive

Dr. Samuel picked up two crystal syringes filled with a faint silver liquid.

Inside the liquid, a tiny worm-like creature slowly wriggled.

He held one of the syringes up before calmly saying,

"The organism inside is a modified parasite."

He paused for a moment before continuing,

"Its origin comes from the parasitic demons."

"Those demons use these parasites to invade the bodies of other living beings, gradually taking control of their nervous system until the host loses all sense of self."

His gaze fell upon the unconscious men.

"By the end of the process, the host becomes nothing more than a hollow shell, completely controlled by the parasite."

There wasn't the slightest change in Dr. Samuel's expression as he spoke.

He simply continued in the same calm tone,
