As soon as Asher deactivated the restraints holding the Shadow Demon, its shadow-like body began moving like mist. The darkness slowly spread outward before gathering together and taking the form of a humanoid demon.

The demon stood nearly four meters tall. Its body was entirely formed from a strange shadow-like substance, with no clear facial features. It had four arms, and each hand possessed three long fingers tipped with extremely sharp claws.

The moment its transformation was complete, the Shadow Demon turned toward the Asher vessel that had released it.

Without wasting even a second, it suddenly vanished from its position and reappeared directly from the shadow being cast by Asher's vessel.

The Shadow Demon immediately attacked, swinging one of its sharp claws toward Asher's face.

However, before the claws could even touch him, Asher suddenly disappeared.

He had teleported away.
