As soon as Noah said those words, everyone fell silent.
Confused, Noah asked, "What happened? Did I say something wrong?"
Adam looked at him and sighed. "Why can't you just stay silent? Why did you have to jinx it?"
Asher simply nodded at Adam's words.
Noah then looked at Adam and said with a slight smile on his face, "Oh, don't worry. Nothing will happen, I'm sure."
Adam stared at Noah for a few seconds before rubbing his forehead in frustration.
"You know," Adam said, "every time someone says that, something bad always happens afterward."
Noah replied, "You are overreacting now. We'll be gone from here soon, nothing will happen, so stop worrying."
Just as Noah said that, a moment later, a nineteen-year-old boy entered the restaurant with two girls, one on either side of him.
He seemed to be a fourth-year student of the Academy, and the girls with him appeared to be second-year students.
