As soon as Asher finished his sentence, Noah's expression shifted from calm to horror. He slowly turned his head behind him and quickly said in a voice full of dread,

"Sorry, I didn't mean anything bad—"

But Noah stopped mid-sentence when he found that there was no one behind him. He looked around, but there was no sign of anyone else in the surroundings other than Asher.

Then he suddenly heard someone laughing out loud. He turned toward the source of the laughter, only to find that it was none other than Asher, who was laughing as if he were at a comedy show.

Noah's expression shifted to anger, and he said in an angry tone,

"You bastard, don't joke like this again. I almost peed my pants because of your joke!"

Asher stopped laughing, and his expression turned calm. Then he started laughing again and said,

"You should have seen your face. It was really funny."
