Captain – Chapter 102 – The Captain’s Malice
Captain – Chapter 102 – The Captain’s Malice
=================================
After finishing an entire bottle of wine, Roy, feeling somewhat drowsy, lifted the semi-transparent curtain and sat on the soft bed. She gave a small yawn and began removing her shoes and clothes.
Hearing the rustling sound of the young woman undressing behind him, Caine continued standing at the table, staring intently at the dark red liquid in his glass. Beside his hand was an empty wine bottle and another unopened bottle of expensive red wine.
Clearly, he was still considering whether to open another bottle to delay bedtime.
“Caine, finish that glass but don’t drink any more. We have important business to attend to tomorrow.”
The captain’s soft, tender reminder reached the young man’s ears. Generally, unless extremely tired, this person with no awareness of her femininity would never make such a sound.
With a headache, he tapped the side of the glass with his finger, then threw back the red wine in one gulp before walking toward the large bed covered with a goose-yellow quilt. By now, the captain had undressed down to just her shirt and thirty-inch linen pants, comfortably curled up under the covers.
The first mate lifted the curtain and casually pulled out the thick feather pillow that the captain was resting on. Naturally, Roy was startled by the sudden loss of support, and her drowsiness immediately diminished.
“What are you doing?” Roy glared at Caine with unfriendly eyes, like a small wild cat whose peaceful slumber had been disturbed.
“Taking a pillow. There are plenty more on the bed, Captain. You can just take another one,” Caine said casually as he smoothed out the wrinkles on the pillow.

Roy detected some hidden meaning in the first mate’s words. Her eyes widened slightly. “Where are you going? Don’t tell me you’re taking this pillow to find my Little Ceci. Even if the guards don’t lay hands on you, I’ll break your nose.”
“How could you think that?”
Unable to comprehend the captain’s bizarre train of thought, Caine extended his hand to the young woman and said with a bitter smile, “I just want to find some place in the room to sleep. Give me a blanket too.”
Roy clutched the blanket around herself, showing no intention of giving it up. “What do you mean ‘find some place to sleep’? There isn’t a second bed in this room.”
Seeing this, Caine shook his head and no longer hoped to snatch the blanket from the captain. His gaze wandered around the room. “Although there’s no second bed, at least there’s a fur carpet. Sleeping on it wouldn’t be too uncomfortable.”
“Oh… sleeping on the floor? I say, first mate, are you stupid? With such a comfortable bed available, you insist on sleeping on the floor. You really are destined for a life of hardship and toil.”
The captain maliciously mocked the young man, but seeing that the first mate wasn’t moved at all and continued looking for a spacious enough spot between the table and chairs, her fine eyebrows furrowed, then suddenly relaxed as if she understood something.
“I see.”
Hearing the captain’s murmur, Caine turned his head back, looking at Roy’s enlightened expression, and asked somewhat unnaturally, “What do you see?”

“Caine, are you… trying to avoid suspicion?” Roy’s dark golden pupils reflected the faint light of the candles, rippling slightly like the sea surface in a breeze.
The first mate was silent for a moment, then nodded, somewhat surprised by the captain’s careful choice of words. However, in the next moment, he could no longer maintain his composure.
“Have you never slept with a woman before?”
Roy seemed to have discovered something interesting and asked with a mischievous smile, “First mate, you’re not a virgin, are you?”
For pirates, even those who signed the black contract and weren’t yet of age had already experienced the world, visiting brothels as routinely as going home.
And for someone of Caine’s age, if other pirates knew he still “kept himself pure,” it would definitely become a timeless joke on the pirate ship.
Caine’s face darkened at the captain’s unrestrained speculation. His finger trembled as he pointed at her, unable to speak for a long time.
In fact, although according to imperial regulations, one must be of age before marriage, in upper-class noble circles, in the social circles of young masters and misses, who didn’t have several lovers they were fond of?
And nobles’ children like Caine, who had come of age, basically had early marriages arranged for the benefit of the family or to expand their circle. Only a very few families with strict traditions, who didn’t rely on marriage alliances to strengthen themselves, weren’t in a hurry to arrange their children’s marriages.

But no matter how he explained, he seemed unable to escape the mocking identity in the captain’s mouth.
“Is there something funny about that?” Caine took a deep breath and asked, feigning indifference.
“No… there’s nothing funny about it. After all, the Howard family doesn’t care about external help. Moreover, bearing the name of the Imperial Lion, what kind of good girl couldn’t you find? It’s just a matter of whether you want to or not.”
Although she said there was nothing funny, Roy continued to smile with narrowed eyes, just short of rolling around on the bed. That expression, in the young man’s eyes, was truly extremely annoying.
“Alright, alright, I won’t tease you anymore. Really, such a small capacity for tolerance.”
Seeing that the first mate was like a powder keg about to explode at any moment, Roy reluctantly suppressed her smile. She sat up and moved to the other side, making room for one person to lie down, then patted the nightingale-patterned quilt. “Here, sleep here.”
Caine, who was already on the verge of exploding, looked at this scene, and the displeasure on his face gradually disappeared, replaced by an expression of absurdity. “This… this doesn’t seem right?”
“What’s the issue? It’s not like we haven’t slept together before,” the captain leaned back against the bedpost, shrugging indifferently.
“That was only out of necessity…” Thinking of the scenes on the deserted island, the first mate still hesitated.

“Really, a grown man being so wishy-washy. Just sleep when I tell you to sleep, unless… you have ulterior motives.” It was the captain’s skillful use of reverse psychology.
Sure enough, Caine raised his eyebrows slightly. “Who has ulterior motives?”
With that, the first mate threw the pillow back onto the bed and began to undo his leather belt, keeping his head slightly lowered throughout, maintaining an air of indifference.
Seeing the first mate’s series of reactions, the drowsiness that had enveloped Roy disappeared without a trace. In her heart, a certain malice welled up unstoppably. She crept behind the young man and, as he was about to take off his outer garment, reached around his waist and touched the tightly fastened buttons on Caine’s abdomen.
The first mate’s whole body trembled, as if turned to stone, not daring to move.
“Caine, have you never thought that one day you could truly experience clouds and rain with your captain?”
There was an obvious teasing tone in the captain’s words. After the experience of dancing during the devil’s training, Caine certainly wouldn’t be fooled again, but this time the situation seemed to be more “serious” than before.
Roy’s hand unbuttoned Caine’s buttons, one by one moving upward. By the time she undid the last button on his collar, her cheek was also against the young man’s ear, with a malicious smile that he couldn’t see: “Would you like your captain to help you…”
“End your nearly twenty years of virginity?”
