Captain – Chapter 633 – Night Rain and Sea of Love
Captain – Chapter 633 – Night Rain and Sea of Love
After who knows how long, the faint sound of water finally ceased.
Following a rustling of fabric, the bathroom door was slowly pushed open, and a figure that appeared more slender without his cloak emerged.
In the dim great hall, after briefly orienting himself, he stepped toward the only bedroom with its door slightly ajar, his pace much calmer than before.
As if he had figured something out, or perhaps, had prepared himself to cross that line.
“Creak…”
The bedroom door opened softly, then closed.
Entering the room, Caine glanced around briefly and took in the general scene.
This bedroom, small and delicate relative to the overall room and obviously designed for intimate moments, was not complexly furnished.
Aside from the soft carpet on the floor and the dark ceiling embedded with glittering tiny gems that looked exactly like a real starry sky, the other furnishings were no different from ordinary homes.
Upon entering, Caine’s first sight was the wardrobe directly facing him, and hanging quietly on the coat rack beside it was that magnificent captain’s uniform.
The one belonging to the Golden-Eyed Devil.
After taking a deep breath and preparing himself to see certain… dazzling scenes, the first mate followed the faint candlelight toward the bed near the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Contrary to the young man’s expectations, there was no stunning scene he had imagined.
Only a young woman sitting on the bedside, leaning against the bed screen, gently swirling a crystal glass.

The glass contained clear dark red wine that somewhat echoed the flush on her face from the alcohol. Several bottles of wine that should have been used to deepen emotions or embolden someone sat empty on the low table beside her.
In the candlelight’s reflection, that slender figure actually gave off a melancholic beauty.
But… melancholic?
Thinking of this word, Caine’s eyebrows that had slightly raised in surprise lowered again, privately certain this was another of the captain’s pranks.
But most importantly, she was at least still clothed.
A crisp short shirt, unremarkable long pants—if not for her pale gold hair flowing like a waterfall, the first mate would have thought he’d returned to that moment when he first opened his eyes on the isolated island.
Seeing that terrible girl in standard pirate attire, as messy as a standard pirate.
Casually stuffing his outer coat and tricorn hat into the wardrobe, Caine walked over to sit beside her, then reached out to fiddle with the empty wine bottles around the candlestick.
“I thought you’d at least save me half a bottle.”
Hearing this, the captain’s fingers pausing in swirling the wine glass, then looked at him somewhat mockingly: “I thought you’d come in completely naked after your bath.”
“The time it took someone to bathe was longer than it used to take me to command a naval battle. Never mind these few bottles—even if there were twenty more, I’d have finished them all.”
“And you still fantasize about leftovers?”
Hearing the young woman’s light words and feeling the grievance hidden beneath those soft barbs, the first mate couldn’t help but cough lightly and ask unnaturally: “It wasn’t that exaggerated, was it?”
Throwing him a “you know perfectly well” eye roll, the young woman lightly sipped the wine, then turned her face away, her slightly curled hair falling to hide her profile.

Seeing this, the young man asked carefully: “Are you angry?”
It was a long time before he got a bland response: “How would I dare? When even a smiling face makes someone fear me like a snake or scorpion, if I had any more temper, wouldn’t he run right out the door?”
Hearing this somewhat amusing yet heartbreaking and aggrieved complaint, the first mate smiled bitterly, moved closer, and unusually took the initiative to lightly embrace her shoulders.
“I’m not afraid, Captain. I’m just somewhat—no, I should say far too nervous.”
“You know I have no experience in this area. Besides, you used to tease me about this often. If we’re talking about leaving psychological shadows, you bear some responsibility too, don’t you?”
Hearing this, Roy seemed displeased and shrugged off his hand, her tone clearly more heated: “Oh, that’s rich—you avoid me, but it’s my fault instead?”
“That’s not what I meant…”
Not giving the first mate much chance to explain, the young woman immediately interrupted: “Fine then, swear that this kind of thing won’t happen again, or else…”
What Roy didn’t expect was that this time, Caine also learned to steal the conversation, smiling as he said: “Or else I’ll apologize first in every argument, no matter who’s actually at fault. How about that? If that’s not enough, add a hundred more conditions.”
“I’m willing to swear immediately in the name of a pirate. You can think of the remaining terms slowly.”
Hearing her first mate’s tone suddenly change to almost teasing, Roy’s body stiffened, seeming momentarily unsure how to respond. But before she could continue with her melancholic, pitiful act, he unexpectedly reached out his claws without any strategy.
He snatched away the fine wine she hadn’t finished enjoying.
When the young woman swept aside her hair to glare furiously at Caine, he had already tilted his head back to drain the wine and didn’t forget to show her the empty glass while laughing: “Captain, the anger you’re showing now is a hundred times more genuine than before.”
That’s because I really am angry—that was the last half glass of Witzmer’s finest amber.

Suppressing the heartache of losing good wine, Roy lightly crossed her arms and leaned back against the bed screen, asking in incomprehension: “I’ll be damned, how did you see through it?”
“Intuition, pure intuition, Captain.”
Seeing her somewhat embarrassed anger at her prank’s failure, the first mate said with both satisfaction and helplessness: “Even a fool who’s been deceived a thousand times should be able to see through it once, right?”
“Besides, honestly speaking, that kind of role really doesn’t suit you. In my memory, when you’re truly furious, you go straight to using hands and teeth—you’d never be willing to suffer in silence.”
Thinking of the past, how whenever she couldn’t out-argue him and secretly plotted revenge, his lips or shoulders would always bear marks of varying depth, the first mate’s voice grew even more cheerful, since such opportunities were rare.
Making her suffer a loss with no recourse, since she was the one who schemed first.
But what he didn’t expect was that while Roy couldn’t retaliate, it didn’t mean she had no means to deal with him tonight. Without warning, she pounced on him.
Pinning the young man down on the bed with one move.
The steadily burning candle flame was also extinguished by the wind stirred up in the process.
In the dim room, lit only by occasional lightning flashes and the gem starlight on the ceiling, sounds immediately arose of not-so-smooth clothes removal, slightly heavy breathing, and the first mate’s somewhat panicked exclamation.
“The glass, the glass!”
So the crystal glass slipped from hands and “consciously” flew back to the low table.
After who knows what kind of struggle, finally the two rolled from the bedside back to the center of that pale yellow large bed. The gauze blanket hung half over them, covering most of their fair skin, and the only thing that remained unchanged was…
Roy was still on top, firmly pinning down Caine, eyes slightly narrowed with lips curved, like a big bad wolf who had successfully captured a white rabbit, not forgetting to make her declaration.

“Come to think of it, young master, this is your first time, and for this captain after becoming a woman…”
“This should count as a first time too. We’re even.”
Could such things really be considered even?
Silently grumbling to himself, feeling the great force from his shoulders and the slight tickling sensation from the pale gold hair falling down, the first mate tremblingly raised a finger.
“Cap—Captain, though I indeed should… perhaps am ready, could we switch positions? It’s not usually done this way, is it?”
“Hmm, is that so?”
Tilting her head slightly to think for a moment, feeling that if they continued following her habits from when she was still a man, his dignity, past identity, and even his family’s honor might all be somewhat compromised, Roy shrugged.
“Your thinking makes sense too, and this does feel like I’m forcing you to submit.”
Seeing hope, Caine’s expression relaxed somewhat, but the next moment it froze again.
“But not tonight.”
In the rich night darkness, amidst the soft rain sounds, the young woman’s light laugh and gentle words were like devilish whispers, cutting off someone’s hope, yet in the next moment he was deeply immersed in the sea of love.
Just feeling somewhat uncomfortable.
“I must be on top… at least the first time.”
