“Lift up your energy and let yourself slowly float upwards. I’ll wait for you up there. There’s no need for Xuanyuan Meng to teach you insignificant techniques!” Xuanyuan Ying hooked up the corners of his lips. His body floated up into the air, easily leaving the veranda.

Gu Yunlan was struck dumb. No need to learn techniques, float by herself? She doesn’t know how! Seeing Xuanyuan Ying floating away without giving any more care, she stamped her feet helplessly. Calming her heart, she felt a shred of spirit power within, then slowly controlled it to move herself.

Gu Yunlan wasn’t discouraged though. She stood up and took a deep breath before once again floating upwards again.

“Remember to control your directionality!” Xuanyuan Ying’s voice was very soft, trying not to to distract her focus.

Finally, Gu Yunlan safely landed on the surface of the ground. She released a sigh of relief; she finally got out of the veranda.

“Idiot!” Xuanyuan Ying tossed this phrase before turning around to walk towards the courtyards.

“Xuanyuan! Tell me clearly, how am I an idiot?” Gu Yunlan immediately followed along, exiting the ancestral hall. Only then did she realize the snow have long stopped falling, and it was even starting to melt. The ground was very slippery and the sun has yet to come out. The sky was a light blue color, “Yi? The snow melted!”

“En!” Xuanyuan Ying supported her waist, bringing her forwards quickly, “Let’s hurry! They’ve probably all woken up already, and are ready to set out now!”

“En!” Just as she opened her mouth, she swallowed a mouthful of wind. Her mouth shut immediately. Her heart was still a bit gloomy, “Xuanyuan! We can’t replace sleep with cultivation! Gu Yunlan snapped back to consciousness, immediately replying, “Uh, there isn’t much. Just tell them to live healthily, and wait for me to come visit them!”

Bai Yiran nodded his head, showing that he remembered it.

“Yi! Yunlan! What is this, raising pigs?” Xuanyuan Meng giggled into her sleeve, teasing, “I have something to say to master, tell her that she should prepare some delicious food, I’ll go over there to eat when I can!”

“You’re the pig! Only knowing to eat!” Bai Nightspring walked out. Seeing Gu Yunlan, she said seriously, “Gu Yunlan! I’m leaving! Take care of my Mister Xuanyuan, don’t let anyone else take him away!”

When saying ‘anyone else,’ her pupils slid to glance at a certain woman. How rare, her target has finally changed to someone else, it’s no longer Gu Yunlan.

Bai Yiran lifted the corners of his mouth, then found that Xuanyuan Ying had his brows wrinkled. So, he immediately tugged at his little sister and climbed into the front seat, saying to her, “Let’s go! We should hurry on our way, otherwise we might have to sleep outdoors. “Then we’re leaving?” Bai Nightspring looked towards Gu Yunlan and Xuanyua Ying rather unwillingly. She waved towards the two of them before turning to sit in the back seats.

Seeing the car dor shutting, the car then drove out unhurriedly. Gu Yunlan and Xuanyuan Meng waved towards the car.

Returning to the dining room, the two sat around the ignited brazier. Xuanyuan Ying sent away three people then just left for the army barracks.

“Let go of me!” Gu Yunlan pushed her away helplessly, asking in surprise, “A car? Isn’t that something only the military can buy?”

“Wasn’t it an apology for me?” Gu Yunlan shot a glance at her, she’s taking it for herself…

“Zhangyu!” Xuanyuan Meng immediately broke into a smile. Ever since the car was set over in the morning, she had been bugging him about it. In the end he could only agree helplessly to help her after sending off those people. He’ll be back in a few days.

Gu Yunlan still didn’t quite understand. At some point, she felt hungry! She felt very hungry, and had to force herself not to eat. She even felt the urge to bite people. She flipped through many ancient writings in an attempt to figure out the reason.

In the end she learned from Xuanyuan Meng that her grandfather and those who cultivated would fast, and would never actually eat. They had absolutely none of her weird methods.

Hearing this, Xuanyuan Ying creased his brows. After a long while, his hand drummed on the table, “You’re very hungry?”

Xuanyuan Ying rubbed his head, “Furthermore, you’ve been eating pork!”
