Chapter 46: I'm Starting to See a Pattern

Work had been busy, but at least it had been productive. Marcus and I had spent most of the morning tracking down an intermittent misfire on a Ford Mustang GT, which turned out to be a failing ignition coil that only acted up once the engine warmed up. We replaced it, ran the engine through another test, and watched the misfire disappear from the diagnostic readings. By the time we finished, the car was running smoothly again, and I was free to leave.

I clocked out at twelve on the dot, grabbed my things, and headed for Camden Hale University.

I still had around twenty minutes before my one o'clock class, so I decided to grab a quick bite with the guys before heading over.

Jackson spotted me first as I approached the table. "Hey, bud."

"Hey, Nathan," Sasha greeted me.
