After talking with his parents for a while, Kaiser returned to his room and decided to test his comprehension of the Shattered Soul Rule.

He sat down on his bed and closed his eyes, focusing on the new power within his soul.

Unlike mana, Rule energy was much more difficult to control. It was closely connected to the laws of the world, and understanding it required more than simply absorbing energy.

Kaiser carefully examined the Shattered Soul Rule, trying to understand its nature.

However, after spending some time studying it, he realized that making progress wasn't as easy as he had expected.

By the time he finished his first attempt, his comprehension had increased by only 0.5%, bringing it to 1.5%.

And it took his whole night.

Kaiser opened his eyes and checked his progress.
