Chapter 57: Forbidden Love
Chapter 57: Forbidden Love
On a nameless small island.
A gentle breeze blew past, carrying a slight smell of the sea and a hint of decay.
The sky was no longer blue, but was instead covered by a layer of lingering gloom.
A lonely wooden house stood on the island.
Inside a room of the house, a purple-haired girl sat quietly by the window. She held a katana in her hand and silently watched the man lying on the bed, who looked as if he were peacefully asleep.
There was guilt and worry in the girl’s eyes, but mostly, there was prayer.
Creak…
The door opened and Miyamoto Rei walked in. When she saw the purple-haired girl sitting by the window looking at the young man, she paused for a moment, then sighed helplessly and walked to the girl’s side.
“Senior Busujima, please don’t worry. Teacher will be fine.”
It had been nearly two years!
Since the Mount Fuji nuclear bomb crisis broke out over a year ago, her teacher had been in a coma ever since he was rescued.
They had also discovered a small overseas island, which became their sanctuary.
Miyamoto Rei had always wanted to ask what exactly happened to Busujima Saeko during that time, but Saeko remained silent. For nearly two years, she had continued to care for Teacher Wei in this same silence.
Many people said that he would never wake up again.
Miyamoto Rei felt the same way, but she did not dare to say it. She knew that if she did, Busujima Saeko would certainly be heartbroken alone.
Because this was not the first time for Busujima Saeko.
“Rei? Why are you here too? Senior Busujima, is Teacher feeling any better?” Takagi Saya pushed open the door and entered. She paused when she saw Miyamoto Rei, but she still habitually asked about Wei Ziqing’s condition.
After saying this, she noticed Miyamoto Rei giving her urgent signals with her eyes. She suddenly realized something, and her face filled with embarrassment.
“Um, Senior Busujima, it’s really okay. Didn’t they say Teacher is fine? So please don’t worry…”
Busujima Saeko’s heart was full of bitterness. How could she not know that they were just trying to comfort her?
Everyone said that her teacher’s rationality had been completely destroyed and that he was now just a vegetable. But she did not believe it, nor did she want to believe it.
After being knocked unconscious by her father’s palm strike, Busujima Saeko woke up and ignored the interference of Busujima Meiken to run to Mount Fuji.
As a result, the scene from that time still made her heart tremble whenever she recalled it.
Blood was everywhere, along with corpses and severed limbs. It was impossible to tell the true faces of these bodies. Blood flowed like a river; it was as terrifying and eerie as Hell.
In the midst of those corpses and blood, Wei Ziqing stood there with his sword, covered in blood. Even though he had fallen into a coma, a thick blood-colored mist still surrounded him. That was the blood-qi and killing intent of blood!
Trembling, she gritted her teeth and persevered to bring Wei Ziqing back. However, what she brought back was nothing more than a comatose body. For two whole years, she had not spoken a word to her father.
“Mm, all of you please go out. He needs quiet…” Busujima Saeko did not look up. She remained sitting there quietly with her head lowered. She didn’t even look at Miyamoto Rei or Takagi Saya; she just stared silently at Wei Ziqing.
“This…”
Takagi Saya wanted to say more, but Miyamoto Rei grabbed her: “Um, Senior Busujima, we will head out first then…”
After speaking, she dragged Takagi Saya out the door. Outside the door stood three figures: Busujima Meiken, Hirano Fatty, and Little Alice!
“Is Saeko…” Busujima Meiken looked anxious when he saw Takagi and the others come out and hurriedly asked.
Miyamoto Rei did not answer and simply shook her head. Seeing this, Busujima Meiken stood there for a long time, sighed softly, and turned to leave.
He felt some regret!
If he had known she would suffer this much, even if it meant death, he would not have wanted to stop him back then, and he would have helped Wei Ziqing instead.
But it was all too late.
“I hope you can wake up. As long as you wake up, even if she hates me, I will be happy!” At this moment, Busujima Meiken’s back looked ten years older!
…
Inside the room, Busujima Saeko slowly stood up and sat on the bed. After a long time, she hesitantly reached out her hand and touched Wei Ziqing’s cold cheek.
As she touched him, her eyes turned red, and two streams of clear tears flowed down, wetting Wei Ziqing’s face.
“Teacher, can you really not wake up?”
The girl’s heart was hazy, but Busujima Saeko knew that she was different from others. She was very clear about her feelings.
She had fallen in love with her teacher!
This was a very forbidden emotion, but she simply loved him.
Over the past two years, this feeling had become clearer and more stimulating to her heart, making her feel even more guilt.
If she had stayed with him back then, what kind of scene would that have been?
With a soft sigh, she stood up, wanting to go outside for some fresh air. After hesitating for a moment, she bit her lip, a blush appearing on her face. She gently kissed Wei Ziqing’s lips before leaving.
What Busujima Saeko did not notice was that when she kissed Wei Ziqing’s lips, Wei Ziqing’s eyes moved slightly.
It was only when she closed the door that he slowly opened his eyes. He looked at the door with a complex expression, listening to the receding footsteps. After a long time, he sighed softly: “Saeko, why do you put yourself through this?”
He had actually woken up long ago!
Perhaps it should be said that he woke up when Miyamoto Rei entered the room.
For these two years, they had said he had lost his rationality.
But if you asked if that was true, it was yes, no, and also no!
Because he could still clearly know everything happening around him!
And the main credit…
Thinking of this, Wei Ziqing looked at the ring on his finger, the one he called the Fallen Demon Ring!
Perhaps no one would have imagined that this so-called Extraterrestrial Meteorite was actually an object from beyond the world—a tool that could trigger all of one’s negative emotions to achieve an amplification effect!
This was the information sent by the ring while Wei Ziqing was in a coma. It was precisely because his Will was strong that he was able to make the ring serve him!
However, everything had its pros and cons!
This thing could allow him to enter the Fallen Demon state, but there were limits to its use!
Just like his current self; although he had fortunately succeeded in becoming an existence of the Innate Realm because of the Fallen Demon state, if he used Fallen Demon one more time, he would fall into a coma for an entire month!
This was the limitation!
A limitation with no way back!
However, compared to the Fallen Demon Ring, what Wei Ziqing struggled with more were Busujima Saeko’s feelings for him!
That kind of affection, which transcended the bond between teacher and student, was just like his past feelings for Little Dragon Maiden. It made him feel unable to face it. This was why, even though he was awake, he continued to pretend to be in a coma!
