Chapter 1013: Exposed, and on the Run

Qin Xiao looked at the speaker. The Winged Demon clan chief was in the third Emperor realm: Heavenly Emperor.

“You must be the Winged Demon clan chief. Yes, I belong to the Demon Man Clan, though envoy is too grand a title. I am gaining experience, with orders to recheck the Southern District’s passages in preparation for opening the battlefield.”

Although the other party was a Heavenly Emperor, Qin Xiao did not show any fear. He didn’t even stand up, speaking with a calm expression.

Hearing that the patriarch expected a bow, Qin Xiao was taken aback, but his mind raced. I am only at the Pseudo-Emperor Realm and cannot suppress you with my own cultivation, but I can certainly use the big figures of the Demon Man Clan to weigh you down.

“Oh? Is your ancestor at the Ancestor Emperor Realm?”

After hearing Qin Xiao’s words, the patriarch’s tone softened slightly.

This kid is utterly devoid of respect. Could he be the direct descendant of some supreme figure?
