Chapter 1187: The Demon Saint’s Identity, Return to the Immortal Realm

At the very beginning, when the two worlds reconnected, that Demon Saint had originally planned to use the Demon World’s sheer strength to completely crush the Immortal Realm.

That was why it had orchestrated the rebellion at the Western Emperor Academy, as well as the invasion of the Western Domain.

The plan had been proceeding smoothly, but not long ago, it suddenly prophesied the premature destruction of the Demon World.

It could not figure out why no matter how hard it tried.

After that, it continued with its original plan while simultaneously beginning preparations for any subsequent accidents.

During this time, it launched a few more probing attacks against the Immortal Realm—namely the invasions of the Eastern Domain and the Northern Domain.

But when those invasions failed to make significant progress, it realized something was wrong.

Only during Qin Xiao’s second visit to the Demon World had the Demon Saint finally been able to trace him through divination.

Perhaps because Qin Xiao’s System was undergoing an upgrade at that time, it had stopped concealing the heavenly secrets, finally allowing the Demon Saint to deduce his existence.

But by the time it confirmed that Qin Xiao was the variable, it was already too late.
