Chapter 232: Retreating for Now, A Dirty Trick for Grass

In truth, the moment Qin Xiao and the others arrived at the bottom of the cliff, the giant eagle had already sensed them, as this was its territory.

However, it was currently preoccupied and originally had no intention of paying them any mind, assuming these humans had merely wandered in by mistake and would soon leave.

But when the group stopped directly beneath the cliff, the great eagle realized they intended to steal the Soul Return Grass. It immediately dove straight down.

“Whoa, everyone scatter quickly!”

Qin Xiao was the first to react. The moment the words left his mouth, he leaped up to intercept it.

Qin Xiao was not entirely certain he could withstand it either, but he had no other options. Clenching both hands into fists, he thrust them upward to meet the strike.

However, Qin Xiao had overestimated himself. The instant they clashed, he was blasted backward by the tremendous impact. The force was so immense that his entire body was driven deep into the earth.

Having landed its strike, the giant eagle swooped upward and circled back into the sky.

Qin Xiao leaped straight out from the crater in the ground.

“Get lost. Otherwise, die.”

The giant eagle circled in the air, actually speaking in the human tongue.
