Chapter 257: Sword Tomb Plaza, Outer State Forces

After a night of flying, Qin Xiao and his five disciples arrived safely at the plaza outside the Sword Tomb the next day.

The Sword Tomb Plaza had once been the plaza outside the Divine Sword Sect’s mountain gate. The sect’s ruins lay farther up the mountain, though time had probably erased them by now.

The Sword Tomb was in the valley at the foot of the mountain, so everyone was camping in this plaza, waiting for the Sword Tomb to open.

“What is this?”

Above the valley, Qin Xiao saw the shadow of a sword formed from Spiritual Qi. It was being drawn out very slowly and was nearly free.

“This is the countdown for the opening. This sword will appear one month before the Sword Tomb opens. After one month, it will be completely drawn out. The usually quiet Cang Chen volunteered an explanation of the sword shadow.

“Really? I had no idea. It even comes with a countdown. This Sword Tomb is interesting.”

Qin Xiao had been in this world for less than four years. How was he supposed to know about a Sword Tomb that opened only once every ten years?

“Tower Lord, over here.”

The Luo Family Head Luo Chengzhi also saw Qin Xiao and hurriedly greeted him.

The Luo Family naturally also came to participate in the Sword Tomb. In previous years, they never had the opportunity. This time, everyone could participate, so the Luo Family definitely wouldn’t miss it. He had also asked Qin Xiao if he wanted to travel together, but Qin Xiao told him to go ahead first because his disciples were in secluded cultivation and would only come out at the last moment.

The Luo family had come early to secure a place under the banner of the Seven Stars Tower’s Luo Department. A Third-Level Force had enough standing to claim a good spot.

“Master, my father is over there, let’s go over.”
