Each of their sects had only one Body Integration cultivator: themselves. Their deaths would all but spell the end of their sects. Most of their elite disciples were here too. If they were wiped out as well, it would be little different from destroying the sects outright. The Sun family was in the same predicament. Only the Jade Lake Sect had two Body Integration cultivators. One was dead, but another remained back at the sect.

“Stop talking about sparing you. From the moment you came to my place, you had to take responsibility for your actions. Moreover, outside Tianyi City, I already spared you once. But what result did I get? I got you pushing your luck, besieging my Seven Stars Tower again!”

Qin Xiao grew irritated listening to the two old geezers whine. Did they really think he would be so easy to persuade?

“Then we two old ones will commit suicide. We hope Tower Lord Qin will spare our juniors. They truly didn’t know. It’s entirely our fault for bringing them out. They didn’t even know about it.”

Geng Hongyi gave up hope at Qin Xiao’s response. Qin Xiao had spared them once already, and they had come back. Why would he spare them again? Like Yao Zhan, though, he still hoped to save his sect.
