Chapter 296: Allocating the Spirit Liquid, an Outburst at the Banquet

Qin Xiao felt that an auction might cause unnecessary trouble. In the end, he decided to let them negotiate how to allocate it among themselves at the set price of fifty million Spirit Stones per jin.

After all, if they fought over it, even more trouble would likely arise. Whether it was those who paid exorbitant prices to snatch it or those who failed to get any at all, they would ultimately pin the blame on him. That would run counter to his original intention of building goodwill.

Let them decide for themselves. They could pool their funds or divide the purchases afterward. If they could not agree on the split, they could hardly blame him.

“There are still eight portions left. You can join together to purchase them and divide the liquid privately afterward. Either way, there are only eight portions.”

Worried they might not think of this method, Qin Xiao kindly offered a reminder.

“Thank you for your generosity, Tower Lord Qin.”

“He even thinks of small forces like ours. That’s rare indeed.”

The first to benefit were the Fourth-Level and Fifth-Level forces. They could not have competed for the later auction lots; none could afford the price alone. Pooling their funds gave them a chance.

Even when the Immortal Dao Merchant Association auctioned Spirit Liquid, it seldom reached them. Such auctions were reserved for high-ranking members; smaller forces could not even buy it at the auction price.

That was the plight of small forces. Ling Ruoxue had happened to offer Spirit Liquid once after first arriving in Tianyuan City. Where else could they find an auction that sold it?
