Chapter 319: New Year Visit, Abundant Spirit Stones

As soon as the New Year passed, everyone rushed to resume their cultivation. During ordinary times, the basic cultivation field on the fourth floor rarely had crowds and always had spots open. Now that everyone was on holiday, positions had to be contested.

Fortunately, those at the Golden Core and Nascent Soul stages had gone to the intermediate cultivation field on the fifth floor. Otherwise, space on the fourth floor would have been even tighter.

Disciples willing to spend paid Spirit Stones for extra time. Those who were more reluctant still tried to use their full four hours.

Anyone showing signs of an impending breakthrough spent Contribution Value and Spirit Stones to cultivate on the fifth floor. Even with that, the basic cultivation field on the fourth floor remained utterly packed.

Yun Man came up to the tenth floor and reported the situation to Qin Xiao.

“This is indeed a problem,” Qin Xiao remarked. “We do not have that many disciples yet. Once we recruit to full capacity, won’t it be even more crowded?”

Hearing this, Qin Xiao found the issue rather troublesome.

No spiritual veins ran beneath Seven Stars Tower’s grounds, so the Spiritual Qi there was thin. Major sects chose sites above spiritual veins, where the Qi was naturally much denser and disciples could cultivate well even without Spirit Gathering Formations.

“Let’s do this: ask the Formation Masters at the research institute to set up a large cultivation field in an unused area, completely free of charge. First make sure the Spirit Gathering Formations work properly, then consider how to manage their consumption. Upgrade the ones on the fourth and fifth floors while you’re at it.”

He decided that setting up a large, free cultivation area was the best choice. Otherwise, as more disciples arrived in the future, space would never be sufficient.

“Master, I understand. I shall go attend to it at once.”
