Chapter 502: Xiao Heng Breaks Through, Leaving the Formation to Fight

This was a High Immortal-level attack, and Qin Tian wasn’t sure if the grand formation could withstand it. A trace of worry stirred in his chest.

Once Xiao Heng reached High Immortal, and everyone else finished their transformations, thirty thousand against thirty meant they could win just by spitting on the enemy.

The grand formation served two functions: protection and concealment. Wu Deye had noticed the figures sitting in meditation, but since he couldn’t sense any fluctuations in their auras, he assumed they were merely recovering from Thunder Tribulation injuries sustained during their ascension. That was why he had remained so unhurried.

Otherwise, he would have called for family support immediately instead of wasting breath.

These were all plans Qin Tian had devised. Having a local guide really simplified matters and spared them a world of trouble.

Yet no matter how thoroughly they concealed things, as time dragged on, Wu Deye began to notice something amiss.

If they were merely healing, why were there no signs of lingering injuries on their bodies? Could they actually be undergoing baptism and transformation?

“Bad news, brothers! Follow me to break this formation!”

Although Wu Deye had finished gathering power, he did not attack immediately. Noticing something wrong, he ordered everyone to strike together: they had to break the formation at once.

Perhaps it had simply been too long since anyone had ascended, making them complacent. But as a captain, Wu Deye’s reaction was still swift.
