Chapter 755: All Head to Tianluo; Tianluo Rallies

For Sun Sheng to say such words was already a concession.

The concession seemed reasonable, but still surprised everyone. South Emperor Mountain rarely backed down; seeing it happen was unusual indeed.

Of course, the main reason was that the Vermilion Bird Clan had already agreed to Qin Xiao’s terms. If South Emperor Mountain persisted, wouldn’t that be openly opposing the Vermilion Bird Clan?

The Vermilion Bird Clan had said nothing while Qin Xiao and South Emperor Mountain argued. It spoke only after Qin Xiao offered new terms. Rejecting those now would put the clan on the spot.

“Since there are grievances, they must be resolved. I rather agree with Tower Lord Qin’s decision.”

“Exactly. Pu Xiao attacked first, intending to hurt him. Tower Lord Qin is in the right.”

“Moreover, Tower Lord Qin has stated that this declaration of war is only for three days. If Tianluo Manor withstands it, he will let the matter drop. That is already a tremendous concession. There is no problem with this matter.”

Tianluo Manor had fallen out with Qin Xiao and stayed away, but its subordinate factions did not dare do the same. The manor had tacitly allowed them to attend, sparing them that dilemma. Now everyone supported Qin Xiao’s war, and they were in trouble again.

By all logic, they should help Tianluo Manor. However, they all believed Tianluo Manor was destined to lose. Aiding them now would likely bring utter disaster upon their own sects and clans. Yet, if they stood by and did nothing, they were still vassals under Tianluo Manor’s banner.
