“What kind of rule is that? When was it established? Why didn’t I receive any notice?”

Qin Xiao was speechless. If you are going to invent an excuse, at least make it plausible. He had never seen any such order.

“I forgot to mention, you are the exception. Not only does the Immortal Domain tacitly allow it, even the Barren Lands tacitly allow it. You can fight to the death and neither side will interfere, but my Qiankun Academy cannot participate in the war.”

Wen Yuankai was momentarily taken aback before remembering that Seven Stars Tower sat right on the frontier.

The exception came from Seven Stars Tower’s location. It had started as a modest-sized faction deep in Minotaur territory. Even after absorbing Wuji Manor and Tianluo Manor, it still bordered that territory directly. It lay on the front line, so the restriction did not apply.

The Minotaurs could push into the Immortal Domain, and Seven Stars Tower could push into the Barren Lands, but other powers could not.
