The Non-Alchemy Faction had too few members to accomplish much yet. Let Lin Wenlun recruit first. Once the two factions were evenly matched, Qin Xiao could support the non-alchemists in taking control. They could then join him voluntarily, leaving others little ground to object.

Absorbing the Immortal Pill Sect presented certain difficulties. Moving openly with force would easily invite a joint assault. Not only would Qiankun Academy prefer to avoid such a sight, but South Emperor Mountain likely would not wish to see it either.

Controlling the Immortal Pill Sect meant controlling most of the Southern Region’s Immortal Pill and Golden Pill production. That involved far too many interests.
