Charm Demons had such extraordinary abilities that there were fewer than a thousand in the entire Demon Race. As an Upper-Rank Race, they reproduced with extreme difficulty. Even these several hundred remained only because they had escaped mishaps and the Demon Race had deliberately protected them.

The Demon Race had its own hierarchy. Huge, dim-witted Blood Demons, with their powerful fighting ability, were Mid-Rank Demons. Some Demon Beasts and members of the Demon Man Clan were Lower-Rank Demons, while races with special bloodlines or exceptionally powerful fighters were Upper-Rank Races.

The pure combat power of a Charm Demon was not extraordinary, but its Mental Power ranked among the top three in the entire Demon Race, naturally earning it a place among the upper-rank races. Those Blood Demons served as its guardians and subordinates.

The Charm Demon did not even need to deliberately control them; due to the ingrained hierarchy, they felt it an absolute honor to serve the Charm Demon Lord.

The Charm Demon was responsible for the change in the Demonic Qi. It had mixed the Qi with the Blood Demon clan’s Blood Qi and added its own Mental Power. Even a Great Luo Realm expert would be affected.

Even if a Pseudo-Emperor Realm or Emperor Realm expert came down, the demons could hide in this thick Demonic Qi, so they were not worried about being discovered.

After all, unusual events occurred daily across these numerous passages. This was merely a hidden minor path and would not attract excessive attention.

Under normal circumstances, that would indeed be the case. Yet this particular passage happened to be located within Qin Xiao’s territory. Given his temperament, he would never allow a hidden danger to fester in his own backyard.
