Soon Qin Xiao understood. Omnipotent, his ass. It was just a system that produced resources. Hadn’t he forced all its followers into submission himself? The System merely took them in afterward.

Threats and force worked when recruiting followers. But these two had been turned into puppets by the Charm Demon. Threatening them would probably achieve nothing.

“I can help you escape the Charm Demon’s control. Want to try?”

Qin Xiao asked the two of them in a low voice.

“We are loyal only to our Master. We fell into your hands today. Whether you want to kill us or carve us up, just do it. Don’t waste your time.”

The black-robed man spoke with unyielding firmness.

After all, once they were modified, they no longer knew what betrayal meant. Aside from basic common sense, their minds were entirely consumed by loyalty.

“Actually, I belong to the Demon Race too. You are only the Charm Demon’s puppets. A Demon Emperor sent me. Even your master ranks below me.”

Seeing that deception wouldn’t work, Qin Xiao resorted to his greatest talent: fabricating utter nonsense.
