Chapter 979: Reaching the Pseudo-Emperor Realm, Almost Invincible

As he swallowed the Emperor-Breaking Pill, his thoughts cleared. The path to his breakthrough lay before him, plain to see.

He needed only to follow it to enter the Pseudo-Emperor Realm unimpeded.

He had never imagined the breakthrough could be so easy.

In less than two hours, he followed the path to its end. Countless lines appeared before his eyes.

One final step remained. These lines embodied the Immortal Realm’s Void Rules. Once he absorbed them, he would be a Pseudo-Emperor capable of controlling the void.

For a moment, it felt unreal, as though he had stepped from a three-dimensional world into a higher dimension. Space existed as lines, and those lines were his to manipulate.

Drawing two lines apart expanded space; folding them folded space itself. So these were the Void Rules.

He committed each line to memory, learning its purpose and how to control it. As understanding settled into place, he felt he had reached an entirely new level.

Then the whole grand formation began to shake.

“What’s happening?”
