Chapter 255: This Is a Doctor's Benevolence

Zhou Yuan looked on, completely bewildered. "Mr. Yang? What are you digging for?"

"Go get the flashlight from the car for me."

Yang Xun said without even looking up.

Although Zhou Yuan was full of questions, he did as he was told.

By the time he returned with the flashlight, Yang Xun had already dug nearly half a meter deep.

The soil was soft and easy to dig.

Another ten minutes or so passed.

Suddenly, the tip of the shovel struck something hard with a dull thud.

Yang Xun's movements paused slightly. He set down the shovel, crouched, and gently brushed away the top layer of soil with his hands.

He looked down, and his pupils contracted slightly.

A piece of white bone, starkly clear, was exposed in the dirt.

"Mr. Yang... What did you dig up? It's not... some kind of treasure, is it?"

Zhou Yuan stood a short distance away, his voice laced with nervousness.

Yang Xun stood up, glanced back at Zhou Yuan, and said in a calm but exceptionally grave tone, "Call the police."
