Chapter 31: Caught Peeping

A jolt went through Yang Xun, and he whipped his head around.

He saw Xu Qian standing at the entrance to the living room, handbag in hand, her head tilted up to look at him on the second floor.

Even in the dim light, the loathing on her face was unmistakable.

'I'm screwed!!'

Yang Xun's heart clenched. He finally realized he'd been so focused on spying on Xu Yue that he hadn't heard his sister-in-law come in at all.

'Caught red-handed. It's all over.'

"What are you doing crouched at my sister's door, peeking? You creepy bastard!!"

After shouting, Xu Qian rushed up the stairs, her face radiating murderous intent.

"Yang Xun??"

At the same time, a voice came from Xu Yue's room. Though tinged with anxiety, it remained utterly cold.

It was immediately followed by the RUSTLE of clothes being put on and the sound of a light switch being flipped.

With a CLICK, the room was plunged into darkness.

'It's over... It's all over!'
