Soon, they arrived at the warehouse district.

All memories of how he walked about aimlessly in this place after being banished played in Luke's mind as he looked around from his seat in the car.

A month ago, he was the heir to the city. Then, everything flipped like a disc, and he was nothing more than a beggar on the streets. His own kinship didn't accept him because he summoned beast armor, and it was the same beast armor that pulled him out of his misery.

What did Luke do? He forged more beast armor, and he sold them, making one bill after the other until he could fend for himself and survive.

And yet, they wanted to take that away from him too. Adrian burned down the shop he was managing and promised to keep destroying everything Luke tried to build. It was as if they didn't want him gone but wanted him to suffer and see themselves prosper.
