Sensation

Luke joined Scarlett in bed, hoping to keep his distance and cool the tension. After lying there for a while, neither could fall asleep because they were too aware of each other. They started talking to distract themselves.

Scarlett brought up the topic of the upcoming joint term with Rubverton's High, and they discussed a strategy for the event. They agreed that it would be best if they teamed up to defeat stronger rivals, leaving the last battle between the two of them for who would become the next Dux.

After a while, the conversation died down, and the room became silent again, but slowly Scarlett shifted closer to Luke until her knee touched his leg. When Luke turned his head to look at her, he got lost in her star-green eyes. Their breath mingled in the space between them, and slowly, they shared a kiss while still lying down.
