Chapter 2068

Mu Yue returned to Lin City after settling her enrollment. It was time for her to launch a fierce attack on Qi Zhangdong.

That night, the investigation team received evidence from Gao Wenlong. It proved that everything he had done was for Qi Zhangdong's sake.

Although most of the accounts were not under Qi Zhangdong's name, they were under his wife and son. Even his parents, who had passed away, were under their names.

This was a big deal. If it was only his wife and son, it would be fine. However, even his parents, who had passed away, had so much money under their names.

If it was his, he would have gotten it fair and square. Why would he give the money to his dead parents?

Qi Zhangdong could not explain this.

Could it be that he wanted his parents to use it in the underworld?

What a joke. This was the twenty-first century. No one believed in such things. Even if it was true, how could money in the human world be the same as money in the underworld?

It was different! Therefore, the money could not be explained. It became a knife hanging over Qi Zhangdong's head.

When the people from the disciplinary committee came to Qi Zhangdong's office and showed their identification, they were dumbfounded.

"What?" Qi Zhangdong's eyes widened in disbelief.

It had been half a month since Gao Wenlong was arrested. Qi Zhangdong thought that the case was over.

During this time, the news had been about Gao Wenlong. None of it was about him. They were all about how Gao Wenlong had set up companies that did not submit to him and caused them to go bankrupt.

He thought that the case was settled. However, he did not expect that the disciplinary committee would suddenly send someone down.

"Governor Qi, please come with us!" Director Bao of the Second Disciplinary Inspection Department walked up to Governor Qi with a dark expression.

"Director Bao!" Qi Zhangdong looked at Director Bao, who was standing before him. Director Bao was the most influential person in the Discipline Inspection Department. This guy was extraordinarily strong.

Director Bao's name was a little funny. His name was Bao Fugui, and it sounded like he was a person who cared a lot about money. His old father had wanted him to earn more money when he saw that his family was so poor that he couldn't afford it.

However, he was the opposite of the truth. Bao Fugui was an upright and upright person. It could be said that he lived up to the name of Bao Qingtian in ancient times. In the disciplinary department, and even in the government, everyone called him Blackie Bao.

In Blackie Bao's eyes, as long as someone broke the law, he would investigate to the end. He would never be soft-hearted.

It was precisely because of this that as long as he appeared, it meant that it was an order from the higher-ups. The higher-ups had already made a decision.

This time, Blackie Bao's appearance meant that Qi Zhangdong was done for.

The string in Qi Zhangdong's heart snapped. However, he forced himself to stand up and forced a smile. he said, "Director Bao, if you need my cooperation, I'll do it!"

Hei Zi Bao was a little serious as he directly stated the purpose of his visit. "Governor Qi, we received a report that you accepted bribes and used your position to help your relatives do inconvenient things for your own benefit. Now, we want to investigate you!"

Qi Zhangdong's eyes dimmed. It seemed that someone had been investigating him recently.

He had tried his best to distance himself from the investigation. After sending the news to Gao Wenlong, he had not done anything else.
