Chapter 27

In order to make Chu Muyue better recuperate, Chu Zhiming would come back early every day after Chu Muyue came back from Master Dongfang Sheng's place on the mountain. He would first make all kinds of nutritious food for her.

Today, when Chu Muyue finished school, Chu Zhiming was already home. He walked out of the kitchen wearing an apron with a spatula in his hand. "Mu Yue, you're back. Today, dad will …"

But halfway through his words, Chu Zhiming paused and didn't say anything else. He vigilantly looked at Wu Hongjun who was behind Chu Muyue.

Du Jingwen greeted Chu Zhiming very familiarly. She had already become a frequent guest of the Chu family. "Hello Uncle Chu, I'm here to disturb you again!"

Chu Zhiming smiled and nodded, but his eyes fell on Wu Hongjun. "Jingwen, you're here. Sit down and have a cup of tea!"

Chu Muyue changed into slippers and coughed. "Dad, this is my classmate, Wu Hongjun. He's the student with the best grades in our school. He's here to tutor me today!"

"Hello Uncle!" Wu Hongjun bowed politely to Chu Zhiming.

Chu Zhiming frowned. Wu Hongjun didn't seem to be his daughter's classmate.

"Is he new to your class?" Chu Zhiming asked doubtfully.

Chu Muyue quickly explained. "No, he's from the eighth class!"

"The eighth class? Why would someone from the eighth class come to tutor you? "Chu Zhiming narrowed his eyes, and his tone was full of vigilance.

They were from two different classes, and they were both male. Why would they come to tutor Chu Muyue? They must be up to no good!

Wu Hongjun suddenly felt some pressure, and the corner of his eyes twitched. He didn't understand why Chu Zhiming was so vigilant against him, but he still quickly explained. "Uncle Chu, it's like this. My leg was injured, and Chu Muyue cured it for me. I heard that because of the accident when she fell off the cliff, she didn't come to school for a while, so I wanted to take the initiative to help. I just wanted to thank her for her help!"

Chu Muyue also nodded. "Yes! Dad, don't worry! "

"I see!" Chu Zhiming naturally knew that Chu Muyue learned medical skills from Dongfang Sheng. He also knew that she could treat some minor illnesses and pains.

Dongfang Sheng had cured some chronic diseases left by him when he was a soldier. He was very obedient to Dongfang Sheng's medical skills. Naturally, he trusted his daughter's medical skills very much.

Du Jingwen knelt on the sofa and leaned against the backrest. Looking at the reaction of Chu Zhiming and the other two, she couldn't help but burst out laughing. Why did she feel that Chu Zhiming was like the father-in-law in the TV series whose precious daughter was kidnapped?

"Uncle Chu, Wu Hongjun is the top student in our school. His grades are really good! With him helping Mu Yue with her revision, you can rest assured! "Du Jingwen couldn't help but put in a good word for Wu Hongjun and comforted Chu Zhiming.

Now that Wu Hongjun was interested in Chu Muyue, as a good friend, of course she had to play matchmaker!

Chu Zhiming nodded, but still looked at Wu Hongjun vigilantly. He said in a matter-of-fact tone, "Mu Yue's room is too small. Let's sit on the table outside!"

As he spoke, Chu Zhiming also cleaned the table so that Chu Muyue could study.

Chu Muyue turned to look at Wu Hongjun and asked, "Is it okay to sit here?"

"I have no objection!" Wu Hongjun shook his head and glanced at Chu Zhiming, who was on guard. Naturally, he didn't dare to refuse.
