Chapter 3949

Chun Ju ran to Qian Lejun's courtyard, her face full of panic as she reported, "Not good, Old Madam!"

Qian Lejun looked at Chun Ju's flustered appearance in confusion and asked, "What's wrong? What happened? "

Chun Ju clutched her chest and panted a few times before explaining, "Old Madam, not good, the Great Elder has been arrested!"

"What?" Hearing Chun Ju's report, Qian Lejun stood up with a whoosh, her face full of shock and disbelief.

The moment Qian Lejun heard this news, her mind was in a mess.

"How could this be? How did he get arrested? "

Seeing Qian Lejun's panicked look, Chun Ju lowered her head and explained, "I was hiding in the dark just now and heard what the Old Master and the Great Elder said. They said that the Old Master had already been on guard against the Great Elder because Young Master Yan attacked Mu Yue in the secular world and almost hurt Miss Yuehua's daughter. That's why he was caught red-handed today and was waiting for the Great Elder to jump into the trap set by the Old Master himself!"

Hearing Qian Lejun's explanation, she fell onto the sofa with a plop, and all the strength in her body disappeared.

"Fortunately, fortunately …" Qian Lejun secretly heaved a sigh of relief when she heard the reason.

It turned out that Nangong Linfeng didn't know about their plan, but that Nangong Linfeng had been paying attention to the Great Elder's movements.

"Yes, yes! Old Madam, if the Family Head knew that you were also involved, he would have already captured you. He would definitely not allow you to remain here peacefully! "Chun Ju also nodded as she explained to Qian Lejun.

In fact, all of Chun Ju's words had been arranged by Nangong Linfeng.

The purpose was to numb Qian Lejun first, then let Qian Lejun and Nangong Wanting jump into the trap set by them.

Now, her purpose was to brainwash Qian Lejun and make her thoughts follow her.

When a person's mind was about to collapse, it was easy for them to be "hypnotized" by someone's intentional guidance, and they would be firm in their words.

Hearing Chun Ju's words of comfort, Qian Lejun nodded her head and heaved a sigh of relief. "Mm, you're right. It seems that Lin Feng must have been wary of the First Elder and that's why he was caught red-handed! As long as we don't give ourselves away, we won't be found out! "Chun Ju knelt on one knee in front of Qian Lejun and comforted her.

Since she wanted to be Nangong Linfeng's spy, she couldn't let Qian Lejun think that she was the one who told Nangong Linfeng the plan. She had to let Qian Lejun think that Nangong Linfeng had long been on guard against First Elder.

At this time, Qian Lejun, who was flustered, nodded gently and said with relief, "Well, you're right. The family head still doesn't know about this matter. We can't give ourselves away!"

Chun Ju also secretly breathed a sigh of relief, then said to Qian Lejun, "Old Madam, should we tell Miss Wanting about this matter?"

Hearing this, Qian Lejun quickly nodded. "Well, we must tell Wanting. We must let her know about this. We can't let her give herself away!"

Then, she grabbed Chun Ju's hands and said, "Go to the Family Shangguan now and tell her about this!"

"Old Madam, don't worry. Leave it to me. I will definitely complete the task!" Chun Ju comforted Qian Lejun.

"Yes!"
