Chapter 917

"Then why don't you live with your son?" Chu Muyue asked curiously.

"Sigh, they also wanted to take care of me, but I'm old and nostalgic. I don't want to be a burden to them, so I didn't let them bring me home! They only come to visit me during Chinese New Year, so I'm satisfied! "The old man said with emotion.

Chu Muyue listened to the old man's words, and her nose felt a little sour, but a warm current flowed through her heart.

No matter when, parents would always think for their children.

"Old man, you said that your son is an official? Then what's your son's name? I'll help you look for him! I know a few officials, maybe they can help you find him! "Chu Muyue smiled and said to the old man.

The old man nodded and looked at Chu Muyue gratefully. He wiped his tears and said, "Miss, you're so kind and beautiful. Thank you so much!"

"This is what I should do. You're right in front of me, so I can't not save you!" Chu Muyue smiled and said comfortingly.

"Good, good!" The old man nodded and said, "My son is called Duan Wenhao. Miss, help me look for my son!"

"Duan … Duan Wenhao?" Xiang Tianhe, who was listening at the side, suddenly called out.

Chu Muyue turned to look at Xiang Tianhe, and her face was filled with confusion and doubt.

Xiang Tianhe looked at Chu Muyue and opened his mouth. He quickly bent down and explained in her ear, "If the old man is right, Duan Wenhao is the secretary of the Jiangnan Provincial Party Committee!"

After hearing Xiang Tianhe's explanation, Chu Muyue remembered that the secretary of the Jiangnan Provincial Party Committee was called Duan Wenhao.

Moreover, the old man said, "He was admitted to a university and became an official." If Duan Wenhao was his son, then his position was not ordinary.

Although the old man said that his son was called Duan Wenhao and might be the secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chu Muyue couldn't believe it. She still had to investigate. It would be bad if she was wrong.

If the old man in front of her was really the father of the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chu Muyue really wanted to laugh.

Previously, she had offended the son of the provincial party secretary, and now, she had saved the father of the provincial party secretary. Her fate with this family was really over.

"Old man, your body is still a little weak. Take a rest first. I'll help you investigate whether there's any news about your son!" Chu Muyue comforted the old man with concern.

However, no matter what, she still had to take good care of this old man. She had to let him rest and recuperate so that he could at least spend some time with his family.

The old man nodded and looked gratefully at Chu Muyue. "Alright, thank you, young lady!"

After helping the old man lie down to rest, Chu Muyue left the room with Xiao Junyan and Xiang Tianhe.

"Brother Xiao, go and investigate the family background of the secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Duan Wenhao, especially his hometown. Investigate clearly whether this old man is his father or not!" Chu Muyue told Xiao Junyan.

"Okay!" Xiao Junyan nodded, took out his mobile phone from his pocket, and walked out of the Chinese medicine hall to order the investigation.

Xiang Tianhe clicked his tongue in wonder, "This is really … I didn't expect that you, Mu Yue, actually saved such an old man. It seems that this secretary has to thank you!"
