Chapter 230: The Hand Cannon Squad

“Before the Instance started, the Leader warned me. Of course, I had to bring General Yu back to the Plane. But this time, the rewards were more than just him. I also redeemed the Colonel official position and brought back 800 Navy soldiers from Yu Dayou.” Shangshan Ruoshui could not stop speaking when he opened his mouth. He was so excited. However, when his words came out through the Alliance Channel, not many people responded.

Just one Yu Dayou. Although he was very power ful, but the Alliance had a Great God like Mo Xiaobai there. Shangshan Ruoshui’s small rewards from the Instance were not enough to brag about.

The first one to jump out and crush his spirit was Luyu: “With the naval strength of the Ming Dynasty, even adding 800 more would probably not beat the Kushan Heavy Infantry. Why do you still treat them like treasures?”

“It seems that the Huaxia Navy, except for the Treasure Ship Fleet during Zheng He’s time, was not very good otherwise,” Bai Hualin added another blow. She also did not expect much from the 800 “luggage” Shangshan Ruoshui brought out of the Instance.

A-Dai and Xin Yue did not speak, but seeing that the two of them did not refute, they knew they were on the same side as whom.

Shangshan Ruoshui, who was originally happy and excited, suddenly got anxious: “No, the soldiers under Yu Dayou are really very powerful. Why don’t you believe me?”

“Cough, cough. They are all history buffs, don’t listen to them talk nonsense.”

Mo Xiaobai had listened for a while beside him and could not take it anymore. He smiled and took over the conversation: “800 people should be the transport capacity of three Fuchuan ships. That is a large number already. And you brought Yu Dayou and his soldiers into the Plane, right? The equipment should also be complete?”

“Haha~ Only the Leader really knows his stuff. Yes, except for heavy weapons like ship-mounted crossbow cannons which cannot be carried, every other Navy warrior has double hand cannons, a large and a small one that can be used in combination. The gunpowder was also fully stocked.”

Shangshan Ruoshui laughed loudly in response. This was where he was truly excited.

The ones he brought back to the Plane were all Sea Fire Musket Hands!

“What? Hand Cannons? Aren’t those heat weapons?”

The Fatty, who did not care much before, was now somewhat stunned: “We are still playing with knives and swords, and you are actually playing with hand cannons?”

“I told you the soldiers I brought back are very powerful. You did not believe me. If my Old Sister had not made me keep it strictly confidential, I would have wanted to post a picture on the Forum to show off.”

Listening to Shangshan Ruoshui’s arrogance, Mo Xiaobai shook his head helplessly: “You little rascal just enjoy yourself in secret. Showing off on the Forum? If General Yu knew you only wanted to show off, he would definitely lead the troops to destroy your little village first. The Musket Hand is a trump card for the current Plane. Unless it is absolutely necessary, you better not expose it early. Besides you and your sister, no one else knows about this, right?”

“No, I only recruited those unemployed Navy soldiers after the Instance ended. But Leader, I have something to tell you. The Yang Yang Yang from the Great Ming Dynasty is really not an ordinary character.”

Shangshan Ruoshui paused when he mentioned “Yang Yang Yang” before continuing: “I received 800 Navy soldiers from General Yu, but she insisted on recruiting soldiers herself. Then she convinced Qi Jiguang to help her train a ‘Qi Family Army’ equipped with Wolf Whiskers and skilled in the Mandarin Duck Formation. Also, my Old Sister said her ‘Qi Family Army’ must also have hand cannons.”

Yang Yang Yang?

She has the Qi Family Army?

“Okay, I know.”

Mo Xiaobai pondered for a moment and nodded. The advantages of the Great Ming Dynasty had begun to show after two Instance battles.

As the only dynasty among the Seven Dynasties equipped with conventional single-person heat weapons, players of the Great Ming Dynasty indeed found it easier to access High-tier Unit Types. Among them, the Hand Cannon Units were at least Tier 4.

This was one rank higher than the Rattan Armor Soldier and Heavy Halberd Soldier that Mo Xiaobai currently possessed.

“We finally managed to pull ahead of you in terms of Territory levels, but now we are slightly behind in Unit Types.”

“But it does not matter. There is still some time before the first Huaxia Region Instance opens. This time is enough for us to find better Unit Types on our own.”

Two thoughts flashed through his mind. Mo Xiaobai spoke up: “Shangshan Ruoshui, your Territory should not be too close to Yang Yang Yang’s. Since you have now invited General Yu out of retirement, you should focus on developing the maritime strength of your Territory. You do not need to worry about Yang Yang Yang’s side. Just manage your own Territory well.”

“I know this. I just wanted to remind you, Leader, hahaha~ Don’t let that woman catch up to you in a while.”

“What? Do you look down on women?” Bai Hualin spoke out immediately after Shangshan Ruoshui opened his mouth: “Little brother, we women are very dangerous. Do not offend us lightly.”

“Alright, stop scaring the little kids. If there is nothing else, I will end the communication first. You two talk slowly.”

“Hey, Leader, who is the kid? I am!”

“What are you talking about? The Great God has left. Little brother, be careful. Sister remembered what you said today. I will find you in some time.” After saying this, Bai Hualin also ended the communication.

Following closely, A-Dai and Little Yue also left the Alliance Communication channel.

The moment the three of them turned off the communication, Bai Hualin looked towards Mo Xiaobai’s bedroom: “It is not dark yet. What is he going back to the room to do?”

A-Dai and his little wife could not know the answer to this question.

However, not long after, all three of them heard laughter coming from inside the room.

The laughter was so loud it was simply terrifying.

What was going on?

Did the Great God go mad?

In just these few seconds, someone ran back to the room. What did he go to do?

“Should we go take a look?” Xiao Bai pointed at the door and said to A-Dai and the others.

“Let’s go take a look.”

A-Dai did not speak, while Little Yue spoke up and stood up on one side.

But just as the three of them walked close to the door and were about to push it open, the loud laughter inside suddenly stopped. The door creaked open from the inside.

Seeing the door open, Xiao Bai and A-Dai asked at the same time:

“Hey, are you okay?”

“What happened?”

Just after opening the door, Mo Xiaobai, who still had a smile on his face, looked at the three of them with a strange expression and raised his eyebrows: “What is this about?”

“Just forget about us. What were you just doing? Did you get too stimulated?”

Me?

Stimulated?

Mo Xiaobai blinked his eyes and then nodded slightly.

He was indeed stimulated just now, but not in the way Bai Hualin and the others thought.

The stimulation he received was not negative, but a thing that made Mo Xiaobai extremely excited:

A huge burst of good luck!

Just now, besides going to drink some water, the only other thing Mo Xiaobai did when he walked back into the room was:

Open a gift box!

After the last Instance ended, Mo Xiaobai only opened 3 Heaven’s Gift Points. That was barely average. However, just now, after he used the newly redeemed gift box, he obtained a full 5 Heaven’s Gift Points.

5 Points!

The highest amount of Heaven’s Gift Points a small gift box can give!

For Mo Xiaobai, who had always been unlucky, being able to open 5 Points directly was absolutely more exciting for him than knocking down a Kushan army again.

After all, for the latter, Mo Xiaobai had some confidence, but the former was something he did not even dare to think of.

Now with these 5 Points, the other item he had been looking forward to for a long time could be directly redeemed from the Heaven’s Gift Treasure Box.
