Chapter 785

Golden Agent of the Adonis (105)

Not only were the shippers celebrating, but many fans who were previously not supportive of any couple have also joined the CP fandom. Even the general viewers, most of the new fans that Xuanxuan attracted in this episode were CP fans because the audience of this show was a group that enjoyed watching sweet romance. They not only recognized Fang Zhenxuan’s various merits but also immediately sensed the sweet chemistry between him and his manager. So the CP fandom for Chu Xiang and Fang Zhenxuan quickly grew stronger. They even established their own trending hashtag — #SweetCP!

Originally, CP fans were racking their brains to come up with a name for them. But who would have thought that after this episode, many individual fans became CP fans and started chanting, “So sweet.” It was quite fitting, to be honest. After getting to know them, fans who previously didn’t support the couple fell into the fandom and couldn’t get out. If this wasn’t “so sweet,” then what was?

Furthermore, the words “So sweet” happened to have the same pronunciation as “Zhen” and “Xiang,” which made it perfect!

The emergence of the Sweet CP was unexpected by both the production team and Chu Xiang

Sister Qing immediately called Chu Xiang to tease her, “Are you considering making a debut? I feel like you have the potential to be a big hit. Even though you only wanted to be the manager behind the scenes, your legend is spreading everywhere in the entertainment industry. I think you should participate in the next season’s recording.”

“You’re thinking too highly of me! But I can consider letting Zhenxuan continue as your assistant in the next season. If you have other projects, remember to contact me. I’ll give you priority in scheduling.”

“Hahaha, if I praise you a little, you’ll become even more proud. Okay, let’s mutually benefit each other. Whenever something good comes up, this big sister will definitely remember you.”

In this episode of Love’s Dream Journey, the focus was almost entirely on Fang Zhenxuan. Inviting him as a guest on the show turned out to be a brilliant decision by Sister Qing. Both the audience and fans were delighted to see him once again trending. They witnessed his caring and responsible side, which further endeared him to them.

At the same time, people haven’t forgotten about Zhou Yuan’s vocal fans. Didn’t they claim that Fang Zhenxuan bullied her? In the actual episode, Zhou Yuan’s tears were clearly caused by getting spice in her eyes after peeling garlic. What did that have to do with Fang Zhenxuan?

Unreasonable fans always find ways to argue. The facts were right in front of them, yet they still insisted that Fang Zhenxuan deliberately made her perform tasks, knowing she wasn’t skilled in cooking.

Their previous actions had already made bystanders unhappy, but now everyone was enjoying the show happily, and misunderstandings have been cleared. At most, one could say that the teaser misled people, and that was it. Yet, Zhou Yuan’s fans kept accusing Fang Zhenxuan of making Zhou Yuan do tasks. This was something everyone couldn’t tolerate.

Why was it that several other girls helped with the food preparation, but it was not okay for Zhou Yuan to do something? Who did she think she was? Some noble princess? If she was so high and mighty, then why did she even participate in the show? She should have gone home and basked in her luxury! Besides, in the show, wasn’t it Zhou Yuan who voluntarily offered to help? Fang Zhenxuan even deliberately gave her something simple to do. If he had asked her to cut meat or peel potatoes, she might have ended up hurting herself, and perhaps even suffered bleeding!

Furthermore, when she didn’t finish peeling a clove of garlic, Fang Zhenxuan took over and didn’t force her to continue. It was her own forgetfulness about washing her hands that drove her to tears. And yet, she blamed others for it? She was 30 years old. Did she expect a 22-year-old guy to remind her about everything? Who did she think she was?

After the attention shifted to Zhou Yuan and Fang Zhenxuan, some keen-eyed viewers noticed something. Why was Zhou Yuan acting out of character in this episode compared to the previous ones? Was she talking more than usual? And the things she uttered… there was something off about them.

Analyzing the situation, from the scenes, dialogues, expressions, motives, and more, was the expertise of law students! Although Fang Zhenxuan’s fanbase had surpassed 6 million and consisted of fans from various fields, the active participation of over 3,000 law students remained a core part of his fanbase. Their actions always played a crucial role. Random fans trusted them and were willing to follow their lead.

Law students would never let Zhou Yuan’s fans tarnish Fang Zhenxuan’s reputation. They analyzed this episode of the show using a case study method, dissecting the traps in her statements. One of them summarized the analysis and shared it online, and it quickly spread.

Zhou Yuan attempted several times to steer the conversation towards love matters with Fang Zhenxuan. If it weren’t for his quick wit to defuse the situation, things would have inevitably turned awkward or made the audience suspect that he was hiding a romantic relationship. Neither scenario was favorable for Fang Zhenxuan.

On top of that, when the production team offered a meager amount of money, Zhou Yuan immediately mentioned that Fang Zhenxuan was their helper and urged him to figure something out. Later, he performed exceptionally well, but how would the audience perceive him if he had failed? This was clearly a task that should have been accomplished together by everyone, yet it mysteriously fell solely on his shoulders. Zhou Yuan was clearly setting him up.

This became even more evident during the game session. Heh, Zhou Yuan herself proposed playing a game of Truth or Dare using a jar of drawn questions, but it was obvious that she didn’t want to answer several of them. However, whenever Fang Zhenxuan lost, she would actively comment and insidiously set traps for him. What was her intention?
