Since it belonged to the category of Accursed Magic, anyone skilled enough in that field could lift it. And through the Soul Board, Hikaru could raise Skill levels.

Hikaru, Lavia, and Paula were all running low on points.

Paula’s Soul Rank itself was low, so raising it could probably give her more points.

“Please let me do it,” Sophie volunteered.

Hikaru had never told them about the Soul Board, but they’d sensed he carried some kind of secret.

“If offering my life can save them, then I will gladly offer it.”

“What?”

Sophie seemed to think that the power of the Soul Board came at the cost of one’s life. Hikaru couldn’t just brush off someone showing that much bravery.
