“Huh?”

The map was simple. The forest terrain wasn’t especially unique either.

There were barely any landmarks, and the thickening fog steadily worsened visibility, but even then, as long as they checked the compass in hand while walking, they should be able to reach the place Soaarunay headed for.

Or at least, they should have.

“Hm, there’s another camp over there.”

“Isn’t that the same search party from before?” Paula said. “The number on the flag hanging from the tent is the same.”

They had returned to their starting point.

“Let’s try again.”

They entered the forest. The fog thickened. Eventually they couldn’t even see ten meters ahead. They followed the compass and kept walking.
