3- making a new friend

After walking for a bit we arrived at a sitting box where it had the letter 'D' on the door of it.

"Let me guess, Drumstrings?" I asked lucifer and Felix.

"Yup, your right," Lucifer smiled. A tall man with black hair came out of the box. "Hello professor Karkoff,"

"Hello luciver, Velix," he said with a very heavy Bulgarian accent. He turned to wards us girls. "Are vese ladies your sisters?"

"Professor, this is my younger sister Odette and Emerald, and this is my cousin, Avery,"

"Vice to meet you," Karkoff said not actually meaning it.

"I'm very sorry, vut I must go," Karkoff said before brushing past me. Felix opened the door and let us all into a rom full of red and black faces.

"I'll show you where to your seats are," a house elf informed us. We wandered a few steps and we took our seats, me being the very end. I didn't realise but I was sitting next to a boy.

"Hey, Ez, who's that girl!" A boy asked. The guy sitting next to me and looked at me.

"I'm sorry about him, Torrence, leave her alone," he looked back at me. "I'm Ezra Dixington,"

"I'm Averinia Lupin, but I prefer Avery Lupin," I said shaking his hand. "What year are you in?"

"I'm in my fifth year, how about you?"

"I'm in my fourth year,"

"What school do you go to?"

"I used to Beauxbatons, but now I go to Hogwarts,"

"Do you want to be friends?" Ezra said randomly making me laugh lightly.

"Sure," I smiled to him. He replied back the gesture and we started watching the match.

"That was wicked!" I said to my cousin after we came back from the match.

"It's a shame that the Bulgarians lost," Em reminded me but I shrugged it off.

"I could imagine what my friend would be doing right now," I said picturing Ron sulking or arguing with Fred and George, who I caught dancing a jig.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" I heard an ear piercing scream. I ran outside of the tent and stood frozen, making sure I was seeing right. I stood still as Deatheaters raced around shooting spells out of thief wands. I raced back into the tent

"Grab a jacket and a pair of shoes!" I said frantically.

"Ave, what wrong?" Odette asked me. She opened h mouth to remind me about my hair which I knew had gone blonde which meant I was starting to freak out.

"Just do as I say!" I shouted grabbing my wand. "Meet me in the forest heart," I said to them before zooming out. People screamed all around me and ran as fast as they could.

"AVERY!" I heard some one shout. I looked beside me and saw Ezra. "Take my hand!" He shouted and I did as what I was told. We raced in and out through people.

"I have to go to the forest heart!" I shouted. He nodded and we both ran faster. As soon as we lost the noises coming from behind, I look back and I tripped. Ezra came back to me to help. He grabbed me by the arm and we went back to running into the forest. When we reached the heart, Ezra fell backwards against a tree, breathing out heavy breaths.

"Are you okay?" I asked him as I knelt beside him, taking very calm breaths. I was used to running fast when I'm a werewolf so I was fine with running fast. Ezra nodded.

"AVERY LUPIN! ARE YOU HERE!" A familiar voice shouted. I looked into the trees and saw Lucifer with the rest of the cousins.

"I RECKON I AM!" I shouted back. Em started to run out of the bushes and hugged me,

"We were so worried," she said frantically. "Imagine if you didn't go and look outside!" She cried. Emerald Portus, a Worry wart.

"Well, I DID look outside so we're alright," I said to them. "Oh, and this is Ezra, he goes to your school," I said helping Ezra up.

"Oh yeah, I know your brother," Felix said taking a bit of a trip down memory lane.

"Yeah, how is William?" Lucifer asked him

"His good, I'm sorry but I have to go," Ezra said before rushing off into darkness.

"AVERY AND EZRA SITTING IN A TREE, K. I. S. S. I. N. g!" Emerald sang a song that I never heard.

"What are you singing?"

"It's a muggle song when friends like another person so I'm singing it," she said before skipping around her elder siblings and I. It's hard to believe that she's in the year above me. I was about to clean up my cut that I got from tripping over until I realised something.

"Where's my wand?" I asked the four of them.

"You might of lost it when you were running," Odette pointed out.

"I'm gonna go look for it," I said before they could do anything else.

"AVERY! no!" I heard Felix cry. I raced through the sensed forest and in a matter of seconds, I raced out of the forest to a newly destroyed quidditch cup.

"Harry!" I heard a girls voice call out. I looked on my left side and saw Hermione with Ron.

"Hermione?!" I asked. She and Ron looked my way and smiled.

"Oh, it's you, why are you here?" Ron asked me.

"I lost my wand, have you seen it?"

"What is the description of it?" Hermione asked as I walked over to the two of them.

"Um it's 10 inches, got werewolf claw in it and eucalyptus," I said proudly. "Oh, and it's black," I told them because they wouldn't have a clue to tell what a wand has on it.

"That is an amazing wand," Hermione said stunned searching for Harry at the same time.

"It sounds like it," I snapped my head over my right shoulder and saw Harry. He singled for us to go over to him. "what's that thing in the sky?"

We all looked up and I gasped. It was a dark mark. "That's a dark mark Harry, one of you know who's mark,"

"STUPERFY!" Was all I heard and we all threw ourselves Ono the ground.

"STOP! THERE JUST CHILDREN!" I heard a mans voice shout. I looked up and saw a man identical to Ron and Ginny.

"You may never know Arthur," a man said firmly.

"One of them is my son Ron, Barty" he said pointing at Ron then walking to Harry "HARRY POTTER! This boy is Harry potter so WHY would he create that spell!?"

"You may never know, polyjuice potion may be in this matter!" The Barty man said. Mr Weasley I presumed walked next to Hermione.

"Hermione granger and-"

"Nymphadora Tonks and Remus Lupin's daughter, Avery I think?" He asked.

"Yeah, what about it?" He held out something pointy until I realised it was my wand. I started to walk over to him. "Hey, that's mine," I said trying to snatch it off him. But he put it higher.

"This was found at the scene of the crime!" He spat at me.

"It fell out of my pocket when I was running. I was with my Cousins and my friend Ezra Dixington, go ask them, I was there," I said trying to grab my wand making nearly every single body feature turn a blood red

"I'm going to make SURE ms Lupin didn't do the spell," Barty said flicking my wand and saying "prior Incantato!" And they wand shooter out oh his hand and went to my red hair.

The wand tapped my head three times and I know it changed to black. "Do you need any more proof?" I asked grasping my wand and shoving it into my pocket.

"No Ms Lupin, that'll be all, you may go now," The posh man said. I looked back at the three of my friends.

"I'll see you guys at school," I said before racing off. Wasn't this an eventful night
