Chapter 35: Since You're a Maid, of Course You Have to Wear a Maid Outfit

Saturday morning.

Jiang Yubai woke up bright and early for a change. He packed his belongings one by one, eventually filling two large suitcases. It wasn't that he had a lot of things—mostly just clothes and daily necessities. But once all the odds and ends were added up, they somehow managed to stuff two whole suitcases.

After confirming all the appliances in the house were turned off, Jiang Yubai carried his two suitcases downstairs and got into the cab he had booked in advance. He took one last glance at the detached villa behind him before turning his head away decisively. "Let's go, sir."

He had absolutely no lingering attachment to this place. After all, even his own mother couldn't stand this "picturesque" (read: middle of nowhere) location and had straight-up gone traveling with her friends. Naturally, he was going to bolt while he still could.
