Chapter 36: Oh~~ So You're Picking Out Clothes for Your Boyfriend?

"A... A maid outfit?!"

Lin Jianxia's eyes widened. TAP, TAP. She took a quick step back and crossed her arms defensively over her chest. "I am not wearing that!"

Jiang Yubai looked puzzled. "Why not?"

"W-we set ground rules! I'm only responsible for cooking and everyday chores. I'm not doing any other... other weird, messy stuff!" Lin Jianxia glared at him.

"What do you mean, 'weird, messy stuff'? Isn't this completely normal?" Jiang Yubai asked in confusion.

She wondered how any of this was normal.

Before Lin Jianxia could retort, Jiang Yubai started counting on his fingers, explaining with a completely straight face. "Look, if you work at a cafe, you wear an apron. If you're a hotel server, you wear a uniform. You even wear a school uniform to school.

"So... isn't it completely normal to wear a maid outfit when you're working as a maid? It's just a work uniform."
