Before he could figure it out, that familiar voice pierced through again.

"Jiang Yubai!"

Hearing this, Jiang Yubai finally woke up a bit more. He glanced at the alarm clock on his bedside table, buried his head into his pillow, and let out a deep sigh. "Seriously, Lin Jianxia, I figured you would just make breakfast and go to school by yourself. Why did you throw in a morning wake-up service?"

The voice outside the door fell silent for a few seconds before suddenly sounding muffled. "Get up... I need to talk to you."

"She has something to say to me?" he wondered.

Jiang Yubai savored the warmth of his bed for another moment before helplessly sitting up. He had just been thinking yesterday about how great it was to live close to the school, as it meant he could sleep in for an extra half hour. But now, he was still waking up at his usual time. The only difference was that the one waking him up had changed from an alarm clock to Lin Jianxia.
