we're seeking refuge in flight,

running towards the sun,

climbing through forests searching

for remnants of greatness past

we breathe in the scent of water

and sweet jasmine, following

the rivers like winding paths,

step by step towards our dreams

inhale the beauty of this place,

the history laid out before us

– aren't you lucky to be able

to witness beauty like this
