---
Kael stared at the screen before him, his mouth slightly open.
This was great.
Absolutely fucking great.
He still wasn’t completely sure what some of the rewards were or what they could do, but judging from their names alone, they sounded like things that would normally be incredibly valuable. And now that the Multiplier had pushed them to such absurd grades, Kael had a feeling he had just struck gold.
There was one reward, however, that he was already very familiar with.
The Bone Fragments.
Kael’s gaze settled on the final notification.
He knew that Bone Fragments had countless uses.
When properly ground down and added to certain mixtures, they could be used in cosmetics. Some high-grade cosmetics made with Bone Fragments could clear impurities from the skin, improve its condition, and even give the user a younger appearance. That alone made them valuable among wealthy civilians and Hunters who cared about their appearance.
But cosmetics were only the most superficial use.
Bone Fragments could also be used in medicine.
Their strengthening properties made them useful for treating injuries and reinforcing bones, while high-grade fragments could possess various magical effects depending on their origin and how they were processed. The stronger the monster the bones came from, the more valuable the resulting material could become.
Then there was equipment manufacturing.
Bone could be shaped into weapon components, used as spear tips, carved into specialized tools, or processed alongside other materials. It could even be melted or refined together with metal to strengthen weapons, armor, and various pieces of equipment.
In other words, even ordinary high-rank Bone Fragments were valuable.
And Kael had just received 256 of them, all of SSS Rank.
Kael looked at the number again, his eyes narrowing slightly.
"That’s going to cause a commotion."
There was no doubt about it.
If he put even a few of them on the market at once, word would get out, and people would probably go crazy.
And that was exactly what Kael intended to do.
The Mothlight Guild was still in the process of establishing itself. They had the foundation, the people, and the resources. Dun’s potion had also allowed them to properly enter the market, but they needed more, something that would make people remember the name Mothlight.
The harassment from various thugs and hostile groups hadn’t stopped either. Even though Kael had already instructed Varek to look into it, he didn’t want the Mothlight Guild to spend its early days constantly defending itself from people trying to test them.
He wanted to establish the Guild in such a way that people would think twice before even considering provoking them.
For a merchant guild, there was a very simple way to accomplish that.
Influence.
Status.
And, most importantly, merchandise.
S-Rank items were already extraordinarily rare.
Whenever one appeared on the market, powerful guilds, wealthy families, corporations, and high-ranking Hunters would fight over the opportunity to obtain it. Depending on the item, its appearance could easily trigger a bidding war.
As for anything above S-Rank?
Publicly, it was practically nonexistent.
At least, Kael had never seen anything above S-Rank openly sold in either of his lives.
That didn’t mean such items didn’t exist.
There were certainly treasures beyond S-Rank hidden throughout the world, but the people who possessed them generally had no reason to sell them. They were likely family heirlooms, priceless treasures, or resources powerful organizations desperately guarded.
So what would happen if a completely new merchant guild suddenly appeared and announced that its first major auction would contain a collection of S-Rank to SSS-Rank materials?
Kael’s lips slowly curled upward.
That would certainly make people pay attention.
The Mothlight Guild wouldn’t need to beg for recognition.
The merchandise would do the talking for them.
Of course, Kael understood the danger.
Showing off treasures without possessing sufficient strength to protect them would be no different from dangling fresh meat in front of a starving tiger.
But strength wasn’t something Kael was worried about.
With his current strength, there weren’t many people who could casually take what belonged to him.
And even if someone tried, the Mothlight Guild wasn’t entirely without backing. Kael had already built up quite a few useful connections, enough to make people think twice before making a move.
Kael could already imagine the wave that would spread throughout the Hunter community once the auction was announced.
The name Mothlight would become known.
People would start asking where the Guild had obtained such treasures.
Powerful organizations would begin paying attention.
Potential partners would come knocking.
And those who had been treating Mothlight like some insignificant new guild would suddenly have to reconsider.
Kael didn’t dwell on it for long.
There was no point imagining the future when he still hadn’t finished examining his rewards.
His gaze shifted toward the Fragment of Ghorrath.
He already had a fairly good idea of what it was.
It should be similar to the one he had obtained from Silens’ floor.
Since he had no immediate reason to inspect it again, Kael left it alone and turned his attention toward the remaining two rewards.
The Rule Book and the Tower Invasion Card.
Both looked familiar.
Kael already knew quite a bit about Rule Cards. They were extremely rare items obtained from the Tower, and their value was astronomical. A Rule Card allowed its user to modify certain aspects of how something functioned, an item’s ability, a personal skill, a specific effect.
Depending on the quality of the Rule Card, the possibilities could become extremely valuable.
Of course, there were limits.
A Rule Card couldn’t simply allow someone to rewrite reality however they wanted. The extent to which something could be changed depended on the quality of the card and the nature of the target being modified.
But even with those restrictions, Rule Cards were already considered priceless treasures.
And the one in Kael’s possession was no longer a normal Rule Card.
The Multiplier had upgraded it into a Mythic Grade Rule Book.
Kael stared at the name for a moment.
"Mythic Grade."
He had never heard of such a grade before.
Even with his knowledge from his previous life, there was nothing that came to mind.
That alone told him just how ridiculous the reward was.
Unfortunately, he still didn’t know what exactly separated a Mythic Grade Rule Book from a normal Rule Card.
He could investigate that later.
For now, there was another item that had caught his attention.
Kael’s eyes moved toward the final reward.
The Tower Invasion Card.
He had a general idea of what it did.
It should allow someone to invade another challenger’s floor.
That was most likely the same method the monk had used when he invaded Kael’s floor.
But something had changed after the Multiplier activated. It was no longer simply a Tower Invasion Card, it now had the word "Admin" attached to it.
Kael couldn’t help but feel a surge of curiosity over what that meant. But there was only one way to find out.
