Chapter 9 - New Light

Morning comes. Freia wakes up from her sleep. She looks around in confused. It’s not her rooms. She sit on the bed. Why she feels so tired today so weird, until she remembers what happens last night. Valerius bite her neck and then.. everything becomes blurred. She quickly walk to the mirror to see herself and she found a marks of fangs in her neck. Now she is panic.

“D-damn.. will I also turn into a vampire like him..?” Mumble Freia in panic.

It’s 8AM, she leave the bedroom and saw Valerius already in the dining room eating.

“Oh Freia! Morning! Come here and eat the breakfast with me!” Said Valerius.

Freia looks at him scared..

“Eat?? You ask me to eat with you? After what happen last night?! Are you out of your mind?!” Said Freia.

“Uh.. I’m sorry for what happen last night. I swear it won’t happen again..” Said Valerius.

Freia walk closer to the dining table.

“I forgive you… I realize it’s also my fault for not letting you bring that bloodstock..” Said Freia.

“Great~ Don’t feel bad.. Come eat~ I’ve prepared a lot~” Said Valerius.

“Mhm… thanks.” Said Freia.

Freia start eating the breakfast meals with him.

“However, I’m curious, will this bite turn me into a vampire like you too?” Ask Freia.

“I… am.. not sure..” Said Valerius.

“What??!” Freia shock and surprised, and suddenly panic.

“Chill.. I will ask Dorian later…” Said Valerius.

“Ask Dorian? How? Is he also a vampire like you?” Ask Freia.

Valerius only nod.

“Sheesh… why my life become so complicated like this… why I end up working with a vampire…??” Said Freia.

“Uh.. yeah.. sorry for that…” Said Valerius.

“I’m going back to my apartment.. Also about your offers to live here.. I.. will think it over.” Said Freia.

Freia leaves after she finish with her breakfast. She walks back to her apartment. Went inside her room and lay his body there. Her phone ring. A notification is coming. It’s Dorian sending a schedule of Valerius to her in a chat.

Do: Tomorrow he has a schedule to a photoshoot at 12pm and meeting a director in 6pm.

Fr: Okay, thanks, I will remind him.

Do: You are very welcome. Also. You can keep that dress and today you both can rest.

Fr: Alright, got it. Thanks.

Freia start packing her stuff and ready to moves to Valerius apartment. At afternoon, she already finished packing and start moving to his place, bringing a luggage and bid a good bye to her roommate. She walks back to Valerius apartment, ring a bell until he opens the door. Valerius looks at her luggage and smile.

“That’s quick. Come in~ You can go to the guest room and put all your stuff there.” Said Valerius.

“Okay thanks.” Said Freia, she quickly get inside the empty room.

Finally she can have her own room and her bed alone. She only hopes that everything works well when she lives here. She start unpacking her stuff, after finish she come over to Valerius, telling him of the his new schedule tomorrow.

“Hey, you got a new schedule tomorrow.” Said Freia.

“What is it?” Said Valerius, who is sitting on the sofa watching TV on his big screen.

“There is this photo shoot schedule at 12PM and  meeting with a director at 6PM.” Said Freia.

“Oh thanks. How about today?” Ask Valerius.

“Nothing. He let you rest today.” Said Freia.

“Okay. Thanks for the info.” Said Valerius.

Freia back to her room while Valerius continue his movie.

Meanwhile in other side, a celebrity has take a look at Valerius magazine photo.

“Who is this guy?” Ask the woman, who is looking at a magazine with Valerius photo on it.

“Oh.. I think that’s a new comer guy. He come to the party last night.” Said her assistant.

“Hm, interesting. I like him. I want to be in the same project with him.” Said the woman.

“Oh really? But he is a newbie? We don’t know his acting yet… What if he ruin the project..?” Ask the assistant.

“Hm. He won’t. Look, his face is gorgeous. He might makes this project filled with many girl fans swooning over him.. right?” Ask the woman.

“Alright… I will try to contact him..” Said the assistant.
