Chapter 10 - Unknown Number?

Freia already move in to Valerius apartment. Today is a day off for both of them. Dorian already sent them the schedule for tomorrow. Valerius is sitting on the sofa. He is right now calling Dorian.

“Hey whatsup!” Said Valerius.

“Something might be happening..” Said Dorian, on the phone with his usual flat voice.

“Uh.. how did you know?”Ask Valerius.

“You forgot we are vampires?” Said Dorian.

“Alright I just want to ask something…” Said Valerius.

“Be quick. Time is gold.” Said Dorian.

“Okay.. So.. what happens if a vampire bite a human? Did the human changes into vampire too?” Ask Valerius.

“Hahaha. See it yourself.” Said Dorian, and with just that he ended the call.

“H-hey wait! You haven’t answer me!” Said Valerius while the phone call already disconnected.

Valerius is confused because he got no answer from Dorian. He can only wait. Meanwhile Freia is already on the kitchen searching for something to eat on the shelf or fridge.

“Hey, do you have something to eat?” Ask Freia from the kitchen.

“Heavy or light?” Ask Valerius.

“Light. Just some snack that I can eat.” Said Freia.

“There are cupnoodles inside the drawers, oatmeal, tea, coffee, etc. just open it and you will found it.” Said Valerius, still focus on watching his movies.

“Which drawers?... There are so many..” Said Freia.

“The middle one.” Said Valerius.

“Alright thanks.” Said Freia.

“Welcome.” Said Valerius.

Freia took a snack and sit on the dining chair. While sitting on the chair her phone suddenly rings. A call from unknown number. She pick it up. A woman’s voice suddenly appear.

“Hi. Is this Valerius Manager’s number?” Ask the voice.

“Yes it is. How can I help you ?” Ask Freia.

“I’m from Garna’s manager. Can you give us Valerius number?” Ask the manager.

“I’m sorry we cannot share his number randomly.” Said Freia.

“Random? This is Garna’s manager, the famous actress.” Said the manager.

“For what occasion that you ask his number?” Ask Freia.

“Garna want to interact with him.” Said the manager.

“We don’t share unless it’s about works and they meet with each other.” Said Freia.

Right after that Freia just end the call and turn off her phone. However, that manager insist on chatting her again.

Manager: Why did you end the call?

Freia: Because we have no more to talk again.

Manager: I won’t stop budging until I got his number.

Freia: Since I haven’t meet you then it’s hard for me to believe you.

Manager: Should we have a video call now?

Freia: No. Stop bugging. Or else I will block your number.

Manager: Fine. Till we meet soon.

The chat ends. Freia then walk to Valerius, sitting beside him on the sofa. Telling him what happens right away.

“Hey you know. Something happen just now.” Said Freia.

“Who is it you are talking with?” Ask Valerius.

“Someone asking for your number. Telling herself as Garna’s manager.” Said Freia.

“Hm.. and then, did you give it?” Ask Valerius.

“No. I told them to ask themselves when they meet you. Also.. I’m scared it’s also just a scammers.” Said Freia.

“Nice job. However who is Garna? I haven’t heard of her yet before?” Ask Valerius.

“Same… Let me try to search it..” Said Freia.

The two of them took their phone and search by themselves. Until they found her picture in the internet and in awe of her beauty.

“She is so pretty…” Said Valerius.

“Yes she is…” Said Freia.

“However….” Said Valerius.

“What?...” Ask Freia.

“She is a ladyboy……..” Said Valerius.

“What?? You mean.. a guy that turn himself into a pretty woman?” Ask Freia again.

“I.. I’m straight… for your info…” Said Valerius.

Right after that Freia laugh so hard.

“Then.. What if she is interested in you, ask you to date her, or even wanting to be in a same project with you?” Ask Freia.

“And why are you so sure?” Ask Valerius.

“Because that manager so insist to have your number. She told me Garna want to interact with you.” Said Freia.

“Uh… probably we are gonna be a colleague only.. not more than that. Or if she insist… we can just be friends… but no more than that.” Said Valerius.

“Alright, gotcha. I will make sure to help you with that.” Said Freia.

“Thanks a lot..” Said Valerius.

Meanwhile in other side. Inside the luxury and big house, there is Garna sitting near her own pool.

“I’m sorry I’m failed to get his number…” Said the manager.

“Tch.. you failed on an easy task like that?” Said Garna.

“I-I’m sorry.. His manager is super strict…” Said the manager.

“However.. we will meet him tomorrow for the project meeting.” Said Garna.

“Yeah, you can meet him and ask his number over there..” Said the manager.

“You don’t have to tell me what to do. Now go away. I want to continue swimming in this pool.” Said Garna.

Right after that she continue swimming in her own pool.
