Chapter 11 - A Ritual..?

The next day finally come. Valerius start having his schedule on. Valerius and Freia wake up early. Eventhough their schedule is 12pm, they wake up at 8am to prepare themselves.

“Remember photoshoot at 12pm.” Said Freia, who is already sitting on the kitchen chair, eating a bread with a jam.

“I know…” Said Valerius who is still on the sofa scrolling with his phone.

“And later at 6pm meeting with a director and producer.” Said Freia.

“Thanks for reminding..” Said Valerius.

“So many schedule but why you didn’t rest up? I have a feeling you will be working until late..” Ask Freia.

“Oh I’ve had enough sleep yesterday, so today I feel fresh. Don’t worry.” Said Valerius, eyes still on his screen.

“However, aren’t you curious what kind of meeting later at 6pm?” Ask Freia.

“Hm.. probably a meeting about a project for a movie or series?” Said Valerius.

“Alright. I will bring the blood package before you lost yourself. Also.. what other things you need?” Ask Freia.

“Nothing.. Only that..” Said Valerius.

The two of them start waiting until Dorian came to pick them up. It’s already 9AM. However, Dorian still haven’t notify the two of them.

“It’s 9AM.. Why he hasn’t notify us at all.” Ask Freia.

“Who?” Ask Valerius.

“Dorian…” Said Freia.

“Let’s wait another 30 minutes..” Said Valerius.

The two of them still waiting until the clock written 9.30am. The two of them looking at each other. Valerius start looking at his phone. He open his contact and searching for Dorian’s name to call on him.

“Dorian… the schedule..” Said Valerius.

“I will come soon. I have something to tell you.” Said Dorian.

“Oh what is it.” Said Valerius.

“The schedule of your meeting with director will be moved tomorrow at 12PM.” Said Dorian.

“Uh.. why?” Ask Valerius.

“I will explain to you when I arrives at 10.30AM.” Said Dorian.

The call finally ended.

“How is it?” Ask Freia.

“The schedule for 6pm is cancelled. I will only have a photoshoot today. He will come later in 10.30.” Said Valerius.

“Really?... Weird.. so sudden but why is it?..” Said Freia.

“I don’t know.. but the meeting with director will be rescheduled tomorrow..?” Said Valerius.

“Alright..” Said Freia.

The two of them wait until the clock reach 10.30AM while the two of them enjoying their own activity in the apartment. Valerius scrolling his phone while Freia watching the TV. While they are focus on what they do, Dorian suddenly already came walking inside the apartment.

“Ehm!” Dorian clears his throat.

“Oh you finally came!” Said Valerius.

“Shall we go now?” Said Freia.

“Yes let’s go. I also will explain something to you when we are inside the car later.” Said Dorian.

The three of them finally leave the apartment and went to the the car. Inside the car, Dorian finally start speaking why the schedule later at night is moving.

“I will explain why the late night schedule are moving to tomorrow.” Said Dorian.

“Okay.” Said Valerius.

“Because tonight is fullmoon. As a vampire we cannot leave the house after 6PM. We also have a ritual tonight. You will be coming to our place tonight for it.” Said Dorian.

“Oh… We have a full moon ritual tonight.. How about Freia? Will she come with us?” Said Valerius.

“No. I will drive her back to the apartment.” Dorian.

“Glad.. because I cannot stand to see blood…” Said Freia.

The car is moving to the photo shoot area which is in the beach and finally park there. They have already planned everything for the photoshoot including their clothings. The three of them came out from the car. Dorian came close to the brand owner and they start chatting for awhile. Soon it’s already 12PM. The photoshoot finally start.

Valerius wearing a bright colorful clothing. This photoshoot is for a summer vibes style and a product that will release in summer later. They start the photoshoot earlier so they won’t feel the summer heat in the beach for summer later. Valerius posing for some photos wearing the clothes they prepared and the product in his hand.

Meanwhile in other side. Garna is sitting on her sofa.

“What is it?! The meeting was rescheduled tomorrow? Why?” Ask Garna to his assistant.

“Yes. It’s on them that reschedule the meeting.” Said the assistant.

“Will it bump with my other schedule?” Ask Garna.

“No.. It was 12PM tomorrow. Your next schedule is 6PM for tomorrow.” Said the assistant.

“Alright. Thanks. You may go.” Said Garna.

She is kinda annoyed. But accepting it.

Back to Valerius. He finally finish their photoshoot in an hour at 1PM. They leave the set and Dorian drives Freia back to the apartment, while Valerius still following him back to their mansion. It’s been sometimes he hasn’t visit the mansion. When they arrives inside the mansion. Valerius walk inside and saw Alaric is sitting on the sofa and greet him.

“Welcome my son.” Said Alaric.

Valerius just smile and sit on the sofa.

“So.. why I need to stay here tonight?” Ask Valerius.

“Oh hasn’t Dorian told you?” Ask Alaric.

“He didn’t tell me the reason.” Said Valerius.

“Hm.. because every full moon we have a ritual that we must do. We have to bath in blood. Also, because our power is at its peak it will become uncontrollable.” Said Alaric.

“Uncontrollable..?” Said Valerius.
