Chapter 12 - The Ritual

It’s still 1PM but Valerius already in Alaric house. The full moon was tonight, and all the vampire is now having a ritual for the full moon.

“So, what time do we start with the ritual?” Ask Valerius.

“Maybe 4PM. You might want to rest your room last time and come here again later at 4PM.” Said Alaric.

“Alright. Thanks for reminding me.” Said Valerius.

Valerius walk to his room. A luxury room with a Victorian style. He lay on soft and expensive bed, looking at his phone and scrolling, until his head beginning to become heavy and he put down his phone. He looks around, there is no mirror in this room, only a painting on the wall above his head, a big window and balcony, a wide luxury bathroom. He looks at it and sigh as his eyes getting heavier and he fall asleep on the bed.

When Valerius open his eyes it is already 3PM. He has been asleep for two hours. Dorian then came to his rooms.

“You already awake?” Ask Dorian.

“Yeah.. Is the ritual start now?” Ask Valerius.

“One more hour to go. We will bath in blood. I have prepared the bathrobe for you.” Said Dorian.

“Alright, thanks Dorian.” Said Valerius.

“Change your clothes and go to the middle room and we will go to that room together.” Said Dorian.

“A room?.” Ask Valerius.

“You’ll see it later. I’ll wait in the middle room.” Said Said Dorian, after saying that he leaves his room.

Valerius leaves his bed and quickly changes his clothing to the bathrobe. He then leaves the bedroom and walk to the middleroom. Dorian and Alaric already there waiting for him.

“Everything is ready now. Let’s take a bath.” Said Dorian.

They are finally walk into a room. When the door open, Valerius was in awe. He saw a large pool with red color. It is an indoor pool with luxury victorian style.

“Is… it… really a blood?...” Ask Valerius.

“What do you think?” Ask Alaric.

Meanwhile Dorian laugh in the background.

“I don’t know.. That’s why I ask.” Said Valerius.

“That’s not a blood. It is a red  wine. We call it bath blood because the wine color is red like a blood.” Said Alaric.

“Oh.. sorry..” Said Valerius.

The three of them then went into the pool. They stay there for sometimes to bath.

“You know why we have to bath in wine?” Ask Dorian.

“No.. Why is it?” Ask Valerius.

“It is because this wine was made of alcohol. When we are in full moon, we become uncontrollable. That’s why we need to bath in here, so after this our body can rest completely and we can shut down ourself for a while.” Said Alaric.

“I understand now. However, what is the next ritual after this?” Ask Valerius.

“Just stay in your room after our dinner later. Lock the windows and door.” Said Dorian.

“And how long we will be bathing in here?” Ask Valerius again.

“Maybe two hours. Until 6PM.” Said Dorian.

“Okay. I understood.” Said Valerius.

“Oh and we already preparing the clothes in your wardrobe. Just use anything you desire.” Said Dorian.

“Amazing~ Thanks!” Said Valerius.

The three of them are having a wine bath together in the indoor pool inside Alaric bathtub. They are bathing there for two hours. Right after that they back to their room and changes their clothing. Valerius found so many clothing in his wardrobe. He wears his pajamas and and walk to the dining room. He sit in the right side, Alaric in the middle and Dorian in the left side. On the table there are 3 plates of steak, with a glass of blood beside the plate and the candle light in the middle of the table.

“Tonight’s menu is Steak.” Said Dorian.

“Nice as always.” Said Alaric.

“Bon apetit everyone!” Said Valerius.

Valerius quickly eat the food that has been prepared on the table. He eat it quick in no time.

“I’ll be back to my room first.” Said Valerius.

“Alright. Don’t lock the door by yourself. We will lock the door and the window for you.” Said Dorian.

“Understood.” Said Valerius, he quickly went back to his room.

Valerius back to his room. He went to the balcony, feeling the cold night air around him while looking at the full moon. Thecold night  wind is blowing his skin. While the full moon shining brilliantly above in the dark night sky. Later Dorian came to his room and saw him still standing in balcony.

“Get inside. I’m gonna lock the door soon.” Said Dorian.

“Oh okay.. but it’s so tall, I cannot fly anyway..” Said Valerius.

“But you can teleport. Also, you cannot get too much exposure from the full moon.” Said Dorian.

Valerius get inside the room, and Dorian quickly lock the balcony door, closing the window curtains.

“But why?” Ask Valerius.

“I will explain tomorrow after you awake, for now, sleep.” Said Dorian.

“Alright. Good night.” Said Valerius.

“Good night.” Said Dorian, after saying that Dorian lock Valerius bedroom from outside.

Valerius already lay on his bed, however he doesn’t know what will happen tonight. All he knows he still have a schedule tomorrow and he need a long rest now.
