Chapter 5 - New Assistant

Clement done with his schedule for photoshoot in the first day. Afterwards, as a promise, Dorian takes him to buy a box of package blood. They went into a deep and dark alley. There standing a small store on the side of the small street. When you get inside, it’s just a small store selling antique stuff, however, inside there is a door that leads to the owner, that sells a package blood. Where does that blood come from? Well.. The owner always open up a blood donation which they took all of it for their own profit, selling it again for ocassion like this. Basically, there is no different from the illegal stuff.

Clement following Dorian walking inside the store. He looks at Dorian making a transaction of buying a blood package which was totally expensive. After that they leave the store and back to the car. Dorian drives Clement back to the apartment.

“Alright.. You can bring that blood package to your own apartment. Also, your new assistant will be coming tomorrow at 7am. I’ve given her your schedule for tomorrow.” Said Dorian.

“Alright thanks Dorian.” Said Clement.

“Your welcome.” Said Dorian.

Right after that his car left. Clement walk to his apartment bringing a cooling box filled with blood. He uses the elevator and there she saw that girl again.

“You!” Said Freia.

“Uh… hi.” Said Clement, he walks inside the elevator and stand beside her.

“Don’t come closer even an inch with me..!” Said Freia.

“I.. I apologize for what happens that day..” Said Clement.

“I forgive you.. and I hope we won’t meet each other again soon, or even bump into each other again anytime soon!” Said Freia.

The elevator door finally open. Freia arrives at her own floor, the 28 ^th floor. She quickly leaves the elevator in mad. Meanwhile Clement sighing. He goes to his own floor, 32 ^th floor.

Clement open his apartment door and get inside his apartment. He quickly put all the blood package on the freezer. Then open his fridge to take out the left over and heat it in the microwave then eat. It’s only 2 photoshoots today, but he feels so tired. After finish eating he took a bath and throw himself on the bed. Her phone ringing. Dorian chat him again.

Do: Tomorrow you have a night schedule for an after party at 7pm. Over there, you have to make a connection with the people around. Greet them, introduce yourself and talk with them. Remember, you have to introduce yourself as Valerius Etoile.

Cl: Understood..

Do: I will pick you up at 5pm while bringing you a suit for this occasion.

Cl: Okay.

Do: Also, your assistant will also follows you.

Cl: What??

Do: What? Any problem?

Cl: No. Thanks for informing me earlier.

Do: Alright. Go get a rest now.

Right after that message Clement feels bad. I mean that girl just now really scared and traumatized seeing him. If Dorian ask her to go there with him.. won’t it be a mess? Clement already imagining the girl panic and tell everyone that he is a vampire and running away, or she will make a gossip with every girl in the room that he is vampire and he ended up being chased by everyone and hang on the cross. That’s gonna be ridiculous. However, let’s forget everything and just sleep.

The next day in the morning..

Freia already preparing herself to meet with the boss she is gonna work with. The floor level was same with the vampire guy that she meet yesterday in the elevator. She just hope it’s not him again. When she looks at the corridor, there are 4 room door. It’s a relieve, since the chance it will be him was getting lower. The room number she has been told to was 3203, and on that floor there is 3201, 3202, 3203, and 3204. She prays really hard before she walk to 3203 room.

Freia ring the bell. The owner opening door and voila. It’s the vampire guy she met yesterday. She thinks the fate is playing with her and slap her in the face just now.

“Whaat?! You again??” Ask Freia.

“Oh! It’s you! Come in!” Said Clement.

“No, no, no! I’m not gonna do this! I should have know it was you who made me got fired from my job!” Said Freia.

“Uh.. yeah, but atleast I paid you well here and higher than your previous work..” Said Clement.

Clement grab her hands and let her come inside his apartment and close the door.

“I think I know why you hired me. You want to drink my blood again right?!” Said Freia.

Clement still holding her hand lead her into the fridge and open the freezer.

“I’ve already stock up what I need..” Said Clement.

“So, what do you want now?!” Ask Freia.

“Just become my assistant. Preparing my schedule, also take care every small things, remind me of everything I have to do. Just that. You work normally likes any other human.” Said Clement.

“…. Really?..” Said Freia.

“Yeah. Really. Back then.. back then was just an accident.. I apologize once again for that..” Said Clement.

“… O-okay…. What should I do now?” Said Freia.

“Your name.. I don’t know your name..” Said Clement.

“Oh.. I’m Freia…” Said Freia.

“Alright.. I’m Valerius Etoile.. and hope we can work well together.” Said Clement.
