SuperTwins Timeline

Book 1 — September

  • Alex and Mia are 10 years old and in Grade 5 .
  • They begin the school year believing they are ordinary children.
  • They discover that their parents, John and Sarah Carter , were once the superheroes Inferno and Mindwave .
  • Valeria Kane/Eclipse kidnaps their parents and attempts to use the extraction machine.
  • Alex discovers his blue plasma powers.
  • Mia discovers her super-speed , which produces a glowing pink trail.
  • The twins work with VIREX to rescue their parents.
  • Alex and Mia use their own energy to help restore their parents after the extraction.
  • Finn reveals that he is actually Finn Carter, John's older brother and the twins' uncle , who had been presumed dead for 18 years.
  • The Carter family's superhero identities become public.

Post-Credit Scene — Late September

  • Somewhere in deep space, Zyron the Collector detects the unusual energy produced by Alex and Mia during the Eclipse incident.
  • He becomes interested in discovering why their energy is different.
  • Zyron orders his son, Kael , to go to Earth and investigate the twins.
  • Kael is instructed to gain their trust.

Between Books — Several Weeks

During the weeks following Book 1:

  • John and Sarah continue recovering from Eclipse's extraction.
  • John begins returning to his work as a firefighter.
  • Sarah continues strengthening her telekinesis.
  • Finn adjusts to being openly reunited with his family.
  • The Carter family moves from their secluded mansion to a new VIREX-protected home.
  • ARGUS is repaired and upgraded.
  • Alex and Mia return to school and continue Grade 5.
  • Jamie and Ethan adjust to knowing their friends are superheroes.
  • Alex practices controlling his plasma.
  • Mia practices controlling her speed.
  • VIREX begins considering Alex and Mia for its Junior Agent program .
  • Meanwhile, Kael prepares to arrive on Earth.

Book 2 — Late October / Early November

  • Alex and Mia are invited to become VIREX's first Junior Agents .
  • They continue attending Grade 5 while training with VIREX.
  • Kael arrives on Earth.
  • He claims that he escaped from his dangerous father.
  • The Carter family and/or VIREX take him under their protection.
  • Kael becomes friends with Alex and Mia.
  • Secretly, he reports information about the twins to Zyron.
  • Zyron continues investigating the unusual energy produced by Alex and Mia.
  • The twins gradually discover that the threat they are facing is connected to something much larger than Earth.
